Suggested by jings of jangly fame. If you want to take part, post your age and what region of the country (or which country!) you live in.

I'm still 59 until next month and I live in Argyll, Scotland.

What a lovely thread! I am 71 in December, retired teacher (how many of us are there?), one DD, one DS, and 2 beautiful GS's. Born in Aberdeen, brought up in Dundee, started teaching in Edinburgh where I met my DH, married had two children then went abroad for twenty years ( his work). We live in a thatched cottage in North Bucks in a small friendly village and I am a school governor, play croquet, do tapestry, sew, look after DGS's when required and love the theatre and dining out. DH is into wine and so am Igrin

Many thanks for kind thoughts, we were supposed to be in Yorkshire today, celebrating, but seeing Gastroenterologist tonight. Hotel kindly transferred our booking to tomorrow. DD, who lives abroad, sent beautiful bouquet.

Lovely thread.

I'm 61 with 2.5 grandchildren, one cat and one dog.

I love being in the woods or by the sea with aforementioned dog and/or DH/child.

A bit of a 'starter', I've many unfinished projects on the go. I'm fairly good at lots of things, expert at nothing. When I sing (which I love to do) people cover their ears in pain so if I could change one thing about myself it would be that.

My photo isn't great quality but I have very few of me as I'm usually the one wielding the camera. It is recent though. smile

Hope all goes well this evening, Harri.

Good photo, Baubles.

I am 66 and I am another retired teacher. I live in Stirling and I have one husband, two children and two granddaughters who are cousins aged 4.

I found this site a couple of months ago and I am endlessly entertained and informed by the great posts from all you lovely Gnetters. Will look for a photo worth publishing.
