We need fewer trusses and even less knicks

Drop all those bloomers

(is all this really funny? )

Well it made me laugh, but I suppose I enjoy what we used to call schoolboy humour.

It was funnier before.

Ignore all the rumours,

They're beginning to get on our wicks.

A Gransnetter tried to lose weight

Staying curvy had seemed their fate

All she ate was cooked cabbage,

Which reduced her great flabbage

Though her spare tyre has yet to deflate.

A gardening Gran sowed some carrots

And fed them to her parrots,

She planted some beans

And then some spring greens

Which tangled themselves into Grans-knots

Grans's puddings were vast and remarkable

So extremely tough and inedible

So she made some rock cake

That just would not bake

But an excellent treat for a cannibal.

(Some people think weird things rhyme!)
