Fancy writing a group limerick ?

Ha Ha, Shysal I was hoping someone would take the bait!

What can we all learn from a limerick?

Sometimes they just make us sound very thick

But give us a chance...

And we'll lead you a dance

Whilst we down half a bottle of Slivovitz

Limerick, thick, slivoVITZ, MG? Steward's enquiry, I think!

While we clear out our lungs with a jar of Vick.

Papaoscar I also think a Stewards enquiry needed That is outside terms and conditions Merlotgran

Or should it be "inquiry"?
I never did know. Well at least I recognise there is a difference. Come on pedants help me out here, and explain.

Coughing and snuffling and feeling sick.

Hoping an aspirin would do the trick

Gran swallowed a potion

And sloshed on some lotion

Then leapt up and said "That was quick!"

Whilst fumbling about in my drawers

For old undies for cleaning the floors

(I found nought but frillies,
Some Ethel's, some Billy's,
Papaoscar, please lend me yours)

Sorry, couldn't help finishing it.

Elegran - could have had "some OSCAR's, some Milly's"

With apologies to Oscar!

Frillies no use for cleaning floors though, Minimouse Oscar's size XXL M & S Y-fronts would be much better.

Dame Symphonia Fumbuler-Gussett

Turned a spectacular shade of russet

When The Lord of the Isles

Showed her his piles

Of poultry and told her to truss it

We're low'ring the tone of these lim'ricks
