When are you too old for leopard print?

Never if you like leopard print then go for it!

Perhaps your DH just doesn't like it! It sounds quite tasteful to me.

I always think of leopard print as the preserve of older women.

I don't think it has anything to do with age, you either like animal print looks or you don't.It does seem fashionable at the moment, all things animal-y, if you like it then wear it ( tell your DH not to be an old fogey)

In my late 30s I had the most gorgeous hand made faux leopard jacket. I bought it second hand from a little shop in Canterbury. I must have a body double because it fitted like a glove, it's the only time I've ever had a coat that didn't need the sleeve turned up. As I moved into my 40's I Worried that I might look a little like 'Bet Lynch' and became really self conscious. So reluctantly I gave it to my local charity shop. I hope who owned after me enjoyed it as much as I did. I still like animal prints and do wear them, only jumpers though. If you like the pattern then wear and enjoy it. Bet you look lovely

I don't wear animal prints myself, but like them on others. However, I do have leopard print cushions around the house for the cats, one of whom is leopard spotted herself!

I've had a leopard print wrap dress for around 10 years that goes in and out of fashion as often as it goes in and out of my wardrobe. I love it and it goes everywhere with me, because it's non-iron and lightweight to pack. Tell your husband to back off, Lynda!

I wear loads of things other folk might think "mutton and lamb" when they see it but its MY choice and I'll wear what I want ,when they start paying my bills they can tell me what to wear.Until then my over the knee boots ,jeans ,shortish skirts ETC will all stay .If you feel happy to wear animal print you wear it ,and tell the OH just that

You go for it Lynda lots of my tops and one or two jackets have leopard print trim or similar not necessarily in animal colours some are pink & black shades,as long as its not natural skin what is his problem (maybe you look so attractive he is a bit green with envy) one never knows the working of the male mind.xx glamma

Yes I think it depends a great deal on the garment. Think your leopard print collar sounds very tasteful.
Personally I couldn't wear a dress or coat that was all animal print but that's just me. Wear whatever feels right for you and sod everyone else.

I love the grey leopard type print but you don't often see it.

It just depends on how you wear it. I can't see anything wrong with a leopard print collar, but a leopard print bikini with matching sun hat might be a teeny bit OTT I certainly wouldn't take too much notice of DH, they get very odd ideas sometimes.

Wear whatever you choose to wear. Never let the fashion police tell you what is right or wrong.

I love leopard print too ! Jammies, slippers, dressing gown , scarves, cagoule, I've just come back from Benidorm where I wore my swimsuit ! Might even buy a pair of loafers this weekend , it's freezing in Scotland ! Viva la Jaguar ! A Big fat one - I've fallen off the LCHF diet !

It certainly is freezing in Scotland. Definitely not a day for dieting. Only snag -overstretched leopard skin isn't a terrific look. Och who cares!

Having stated that I don't wear leopard print, I now remember that I have slippers, gloves and dressing gown!
