Good morning, I’ve just received a gp letter inviting me for a pneumonia and shingles vaccine . I’ll probably take it up - but just so I’m prepared…have any of you had any side effects after the vaccine? It’s just that the last time I had a flue vaccine - I may as well have had flue! I was ill in bed for 2-3 days 😩 . I know we’re all different in our responses to vaccines -I’m just trying to get a picture of what to expect . Thanks x

I have all my jabs separately and on different days from DH as well just in case we are both affected. I also dont book anything important for a couple of days after

DH never has side effects.

I do get a 24 hour tired flu feeling after covid jabs, but nothing after the dual shingles, flu and pneumonia jabs.
Was very ill after a small pox jab at 12.

I am very grateful we have vaccines offered to us.

Just seen its an old thread. I expect OP made her decision. Forgot to check the opening date.
