Good Morning Everyone,
A dark but dry start here in Brackley today.
Today I have a Wiltshire Farms ready meals delivery , so any movement will be done on when they arrive.
Some housework to do as well .
Health OK,
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning Mick and everyone from brightish Carlisle where I believe showers are due later. I think we've had enough for now.
Yesterday was fairly relaxed after my early walk. I read the papers and my book but in between did little jobs. I gave my utility room a 'springclean'. Hardly a challenging job, it's more like a large cupboard, not a room. I'm left with a pile of shoes I haven't yet returned to the shoe rack, they need a review and a clean first. I'll soon be putting away summer things sadly.

This morning I have to go into town to retrieve my partial denture. That isn't the end of my dental woes as shortly after my return from town on Friday, my dodgy crown fell out yet again....it's the dentist again later this week when I think we'll have decisions to make.
It will be back home to laundry and cleaning for rest of the morning and a relaxing afternoon, no gardening possible I suspect.

Have the best possible day everyone.

Have a good trip, Georgesgran.
💐 Helterskelter
Do take it easy, Madeline
A new regime for us today. Dgd is now at senior school so we take delivery of the two gdogs at 7.30 am and will keep them till Wednesday evening. Dgd will no longer come here before and after school. We have had Dgd and dogs for three days a week since she was eighteen months old. Feeling quite sad, but that’s life.
Hope those with trying times get some relief.

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s a dry bright start to the day, looks a little breezy too
Safe travels georgesgran enjoy your time away
I’ve a bit of food shopping to do this morning, home for the afternoon and then out line dancing this evening. I enjoy seeing everyone and chatting as much as I enjoy the dancing. I’m also mid way through putting my summer things away Ekwa, some things are on ‘just one more wear’ and others won’t be out again for a while!
Hope everyone has the best dat they can, take care all 💐

Good morning all from a dull but dry Black country.
Yesterday's lunch was nice, first time we had been there for Sunday lunch the beef was mouthwatering. It was good to see the family having not seen them for a few weeks, they have been away with DS at his conference then up in the lakes visiting friends.
Found out the 10yr old and his dad had climbed Snowdon on Saturday, younger brother 7 climbed half way but decided to stay put with his mum, aunt and cousin have a picnic and then watch mum swimming in the lake.
Other than housework no plans for today.
Madeleine you appear more relaxed today do take care.
Georgesgran safe journey.
Have the best day you can everyone whatever your plans.😎

Good morning from N .Bucks where the sun is making a valiant effort to appear.
Yesterday we visited the local nursery, had coffee and spent a little more than we intended. We now have a nice pot by the front door taking the place of a summer clematis which has been cut down ready for next year. Also planted some Autumn colour to replace the summer annuals. A tidy up in the garden left us feeling very tired.
DH is off to golf in a while. I’ll get a few jobs done and this afternoon / evening I intend to finish the quilt. Just some simple quilting to do and a binding. Sewing club starts on Thursday and the challenge was to have it finished by then .
Wishing all a good day, especially those with illnesses or other troubles.

Good Morning everyone from a dull and cooler central south coast. The forecast is for heavy rain tomorrow so it should help with the water table, which is surely depleted after the heatwave summer we have had.

Laundry is in but no other jobs lined up so far. Pottering keeps on top of most.

Family will be packing up at the End of the Road festival to return back to their busy lives, this morning. My poor DS rang for a chat yesterday as he was feeling the house very big (it is) and empty with them all away. His boot can come off on 5 October providing the consultant is happy with the healing of his Achilles tendon. Then it sill be a splint and rehab.

Hope all the plans GNs have lined up today come to fruition, with no hiccups and that those with struggles or worries of any kind have some relief and comfort.

Gingster thank you. Dgs1 was up early for cuddles. Hes had breakfast and is playing in his room. Dgs2 got up later. He had his breakfast and is now watching his ipad while eating a pot of jelly! I've had a couple of stabs to remind me it's still there. It'll be a quiet day in between journeys

Just popping in to say good morning from damp South Lanarkshire.

Like so many others I have a lot on my mind just now and feel a little overwhelmed by events outwith my control.

My best wishes to you all whatever you are dealing with today.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Autumn scent in the air.

The weekend was manic but also satisfying.
DD &co came with a trailer and took away furniture from her old room plus a large chest bound for his DP who have space.

Meanwhile my pottery and bric-a-brac sale was going on downstairs and the garden became a dog showground. There was a labradoodle and a Sheepoodle as well as smaller models. I had a large signboard out on the high street so Sunday dog walkers were directed down.

I was even asked if it was weekly and realised I had missed a trick. 😅

Today will be house paperwork after exercise class and a friend for supper.

HelterSkelter good luck with it all. It's still very early days. flowers

So many here have your troubles but soldier on. Well done everyone!

Good morning from Haverfordwest
Our second cottage is exceptionally good ,very contemporary . There’s a hot tub here. Wood fired. I feel like a piece of boiled brisket.
I think we’re just going to wander to the town this morning. We’ve done so much last few days. I’m a bit buggered.
Take care everyone.flowers

Good morning all.
A damp start to the day in Stockport.
I have a telephone appointment with a Pharmacist from my surgery today and a Sainsbury’s delivery, apart from that I shall do little, I could sleep for Olympic gold just now.
My GS went off to his first full day at 6th form college with no fuss but not much enthusiasm, we shall see, he seems so mature one minute and then withdrawn and his Autistic self the next.
I hope for a decent day for you all.

hollysteers Mon 07-Sept-26 09:14:36

Good morning from Cloudy Chambers northwest coast. DD drove up from the south yesterday and I’m going to bed really early tonight towards our flight to Greece later.
I’ll wash my hair etc and finally decide what clothes I’m taking which I can’t seem to do earlier than the final day before leaving. Everything else is in the bag and neighbour ready to feed the cat. I’ll be glad of the change and feel ready for it.

I don’t know yet if DS is coming here or leaving from his own place to travel to the airport, he’s so laid back, he’s halfway to New Zealand…

So sorry you are unwell FGT and thoughts to HelterSkelter🌺

Morning all from a damp but muggy West Oxfordshire. Rain is forecast later. It was lovely to see elder son and granddaughter over the weekend. She is back at school today and will be in Year 6! Unbelievable.

Usual Monday. Cleaner this morning, Waitrose shop and a bit of ironing.

OH will visit his bees. They were very aggressive yesterday when he took their honey. He will feed them today with some sugar syrup which he has concocted.

Have a good day - hope you feel better soon, FGT🌷

Good morning from sunny Lancashire.

I’ve had breakfast and I’m just finishing my tea in bed before my shower. We’ll be going for a walk once I’m up and dressed.

Happy Monday 🌹
