Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry outside at the moment here in Brackley .
Plans for the day , housework etc, after yesterdays coach trip which ended up being a wet day in Bath , which was a busy place and pricy .
Health OK,
Take Care,
Mick

Such a late Good Morning from Durham. After overnight rain, it’s fine, sunny but breezy here.
There’s no improvement in my shoulder or wherever the ache is - it’s making me a grumpy bunny! I’ll do a bit of one handed gardening and shed tidying up, then walk Little Dog later. That’s about it for my day.

Best wishes to all. X

Well a very late good morning to you all as I was flouncing off , very annoyed that it all disappeared right at the end of my usual saga!! I usually send my post, read a few of the early posts and then if I need to sit down, or have my coffee I come back to read the rest of the posts. It was even more annoying, as I had looked at the chaos surrounding me , and thought shall I clear up first and then go online, but naturally writing on Good Morning takes precedence. I do it by choice, but it is also a bit of a crafty con to myself, when I am really struggling to move about, or in a lot of pain, when I am on here waffling in my usual way, I am not getting frustrated about how slowly I am getting things done. Anyway I did then start to bring some order , had to stop the washer as it was banging around and making somewhat horrible noises (because I had rather filled it!) but made myself a drink and then got the covers off the yellow peril and got the washing , the pegs and trugged down to the washing lines. Wouldnt have managed to walk down there yet, but never mind, a bit of an effort to get it all on the line, but ah the pleasure to come , of washing dried outside. It was reasonably sunny, but of course as I got most of the stuff on the line, it started that fine drizzle that wets everything Dont care, it will make the washing smell sweeter, and will be staying down there for quite a while, as much to do to restore some semblence of order in the slutty mess I had left last night.

Yesterday did not start well, a lot of pain, very little sleep from the night before, and my leg looking no better and that horrible red sort of shininess which tends not to bode well. My mind was going round and round too, mostly thinking of that wretched bailiff and what I need to do, etc etc. I can think through options and work out the best way to deal with something usually, which helps me to become a bit calmer. But the total mix over this car hassle, starts with fury , because I KNOW it is nothing to do with me, and definitely my worst scenario is if a) someone either calls me a liar, or even worse implies that some one of my great age cant be expected to remember where she was on a specific day etc.
b) the fact that the horrible little man stated that he had the right to either clamp the car or remove it, and it would not necessarily be him, but someone from his firm etc. That meant that I couldnt even be sure who or what was about. Dont mind taking on a fight. after all I was a very early starter in the arguments scene, having argued with my sister for 79 years now, which is put to good use that when I was an adult I already had much more experience than others, and was very good at thinking about situations and working out many different variations that might occur and having strategies for each possibility. This lot do not play fair though!

Never mind , actually it is doing me good. Takes my mind off the wretched cellulitis etc and I can divert pent up rage in a positive direction. I checked with Nichola and told her that if I was forced to pay the money and then get it back, I was going to send it recorded delivery, take pictures of it all - and of course I am keeping a log of the whole situation. But she said I may have to pay with a card or they might let this wretch take the car or whatever , until the money is paid. Fume , fume , fume. However , whatever has to be done to deal with this, I aint finished with them yet!!!

I intend to not only get my money back , when they inevitably have to agree that I should not have had all this hassle, especially as the other 2 letters were cancelled, and so they have no leg to stand on!! That is not going to be all. I intend to claim for lost interest. having to do without things, or delay payment of accounts etc etc. For the extra stress and upset, and I will get a letter from the doctor confirming that I had cellulitis and that I had needed my car to get to the hospital, and the constant stress and worry dah di dah di dah. etc etc. The other thing that really rattles me is that somewhere there will be a record of this wretched letter and summons with my name on it. I dont trust them to make sure that it is wiped clean, or has a letter explaining that it was all a mistake etc.

There was an interesting talk on the radio discussing these sort of bad bailiff firms that put pressure on people, and made things worse etc. Well they have picked the wrong person to have a go at, because I am definitely then going to write to papers, contact whoever on the radio, tv and anything else I can think of getting in touch with and make as much noise as possible, so maybe they might think twice about speaking in a bullying way. Well I may calm down and ignore them all, but right now it is my way of coping.

Anyway it was a very slow start to the day, made worse by needing to do things and either not being able to do them at all or taking forever to do the simplest thing. But actually I did have a bit of a success. I didnt need a lot of things from the market but with it being bh monday, had to get a few bits. They were holding a Repair Cafe , and I had planned to go to that and take the iron, so that they could check it out and then give it to one of the charity shops or to the womens refuge or whatever. But by the time I started off on the yp, it was gone 11,30 and the place was right at the other end of the town and out a bit . I always keep yp charged up etc but had never done that trip on it, as somewhat cautious as I didnt want it to die on me or whatever. But I hadnt time to mess about so got ready and off I went. The wretched pot holes in both the road and the paths were dreadful and there were quite a lot of moronic drivers in cars being rather stupid, this can go quite fast and anyway I got there and delivered the iron. No coffee or cake left as it was late by this time, so then turned round to return to the market. I ended up getting a piece of fish from the fish and chip shop on my way back to town and then I could calm down and was able to treat myself.

i had bought my Yorkshire Post and of course had my china mug, and decided that I deserved a treat and would have a lovely apricot croissant, which they heat up for me and it is delicious. It was quite windy and sunny, and they were busy, so I left the yp outside. I have a plastic sheet I put on the seat so that if any wet comes up from the seat I am ok, and I have a clean towel to actually sit on. So I took my bag with paper and mug etc and hobbled with an effort into the cafe. It was busy and so I had to move further down the cafe to find a seat that I could sit on, and when I spoke to ~Racheal she said she could bake me a fresh croissant but it could take 20 minutes, and I said no problem I am glad to sit down, but I would wait for the coffee to go with it.

When it came that was a little bit of bliss . My lovely coffee, this absolutely freshly baked cake, my Yorkshire post. Ah how lovely. I sat there , happily enjoying every sip and crumb, reading my paper , noting what was happening in town this weekend. I could feel the stress slowly leaving me. Pleased with my efforts, I then went towards the exit, only to see that there had been a shower!!! The yellow peril was wet, and the towel soaked, and so I had to ring out the towel, wipe off as much wet from the seat etc, and pull out my emergency thin mac, to gingerly cover as much as possible and creak off to Tesco and then home.!!Ah well , in the end it was a day that was physically hard but at least I fell more angry than depressed, and I am ready for whatever comes next!!

Of course the really lovely thing is that the wonderful Muker show is on wednesday and I have a disabled parking space , so of course there is nothing that can spoil the joys of Swaledale, seeing old friends and feeling alive!! Oh how apt ! They are just playing "the ride of the Valkiries " so you can imagine me going into battle with the car people wearing my helmet and waving a spear and singing at the top of my voice as I charge the bailiff and put him to flight!!!

thank you all for your concern and I am going to come back and read some more, but please explain what I need to do to do Copy as I dont think I remember that. I taught myself to use the laptop, and probably still have gaps in my knowlege. Hoping your days are going well, time to go and check on the washing
