Disappearing contributers

If I’d had to make a list Allira’s name would have been at the bottom of it. She was never rude, she never bullied anyone and she could be very amusing. Such a shame and just doesn’t seem right at all, I am truly amazed and very very sorry that she has been banned.

It’s a ban. It’s always a ban not suspension. GSM was banned and never found out why.

Some sites have temporary bans which I think are a good idea.

I cannot imagine what Allira has done to be banned. I didn’t read the thread that contained the offence.
I’m another one who would like to see her reinstated. An explanation from GNHQ would be nice.

GNHQ do not permanently ban people for nothing. It’s a very big decision to ban someone so not something they do lightly.

They do suspend for a month sometimes? I think it happened to GSM before it became permanent, and I can think of more than one poster who had a suspension and came back sometimes under a new name.

Just caught up with this thread and can't believe what has happened to our friend Allira, I could cry.

I'm another incensed by this decision that I just can't understand. I didn't see the offending thread but I would bet the house that Allira would not post anything that could even remotely justify an immediate ban. She is not a poster who would ignore a warning from GN headquarters that a post was unacceptable and then double down so it makes zero sense. I've never seen her post anything that would even merit a warning. I'm not usually into conspiracy theories but I'm convinced she has been deliberately targeted. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck........

Well, as the thread had a number of deletions; mainly posts that perhaps weren't taking the subject matter as seriously as the OP might have wanted, it wouldn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out who had their finger firmly stuck on the report button. Shame on you for being so cowardly.

If the banning of Allira was because of that thread on site stuff then I'm even more angry. What on earth singled Allira out for a ban? There was some light hearted banter that obviously annoyed a poster but is that deemed sufficient for creating a scapegoat to be banned?
Well we can all learn the lesson, no disagreement, no light-hearted banter, and absolutely nothing off topic on certain threads.

Ah no, not Allira. One of the most supportive, witty and interesting posters on the site. I can’t imagine why she’s gone, but fingers crossed it’s just a temporary suspension. Really, we’re treated like children on here, aren’t we?
