It has recently been alleged that Shein, the China based, fast fashion company has been benefiting from an import duty tax exemption “loophole” which means UK import duty is not charged on goods worth less than £135, which are sent direct to its customers from overseas

I have it on good authority that the cockroaches survived and thrived on Christmas Island after the nuclear bomb tests.

The EU is looking at the Temu/Shien loophole but it won't work straight away I think, reading this.
Hope we follow suit if they do yhough!

It's a pity all retailers loopholes aren't examined. (Ooh err, missus!)

We get a lot of Shein clothes come into the charity shop and you know immediately without looking for a label They really aren’t good on the whole, good looking but poor quality.
I can’t bring myself to buy off them when I read the ways the workers are treated and no I don’t think they are treated equal to other famous name companies although I know many aren’t good Temu is the other one I am tempted to buy for their really cute knick knacks but won’t because of their treatment but I want them gone and I can’t be part of them

If someone is taking the time to pass on their clothes though, and they benefit another person, and raise money for a charity, then they are no different from a Chanel item being donated.
