bellanonna we had a little excitement with an infiltrator this morning, maybe before you got here, who sent us some rather explicit photos!

I am going to ask GNHQ if they can merge theses two threads.

Oh dear, that I think is a first, certainly here, with another "extension". Maybe in the future we will just have to up sticks and move and that will stop those with a vivid imagination and handy camera.

I hope that those who saw the photos did not choke over their cornflakes. I must have been watching the news, having got up later than usual so thankfully missed it.

Here was me blithely saying yesterday that GNHQ did not have to monitor us but it is the outsiders like this pervert who cause the trouble.

I hope that nobody minds but I have given GNHQ permission to delete our rogue thread because they cannot merge the two. There are photos with this one whereas it is mainly chat in the other, most being one liners.

Charleygirl its the best idea two threads like Soop's kitchen are impossible to manage.

Nelliemoser Yep! We got our knickers in a bit of a twist yesterday. Two kitchens... One is quite enough. I couldn't possibly have you lot meandering all over the place. Someone needs to keep a beady kindly eye on you.

What have I missed? Was it cheeky? Was it something akin to "members"? I'm bemused. Someone give me hint or two. You know how nosy I am.

I have been to the care home. An elderly male resident (normally very timid) sang 'Danny Boy' with such clarity and feeling. He received applause. He started to sing...'I'll take you home again, Kathleen' and broke down in floods of tears. Some deep and treasured memory must have been too painful to revive.

Bellasnana I also feel sad for you. I too am hoping that your new home will be a new beginning.

There is such a lot going on in our kitchen It is difficult to catch up. I need to read all the messages. So, that's what I shall do.

I think that you lot are the tops. So there! I cannot begin to imagine a day without your company. to each and every one of you.

soop if you post any more of those gorgeous photos we will all be arriving with our animals to enjoy the scenery. That would definitely put Rory's nose out of joint.

I have to admit that I miss the sea at St. Andrews. We did not live there but only a few miles away so frequently drove there for weekly shopping and walks along the beach some evenings.

Could you imagine having two kitchen threads.
Those who could not find the right one would be wandering around like lost souls in Limbo.

The sea is beside us almost the entire journey between our home and Campbeltown. I've only visited St Andrews on two occasions. A very smart town.

DH and I met in our first term at St Andrews and returned 3 weeks after our graduation to get married in St Salvator's Chapel in July 1970.

It's that time again. Time to log off. Ride the exercise bike, and then feed the cats.

The day's weather started well enough. However, the rain and wind have picked up a pace. Not a day for sightseeing.

MacSporran has developed a nasty, chesty cough. I'm hoping that his compromised immune system won't let him down.

Alea and you are still together after this length of time. I am well aware that DH has been ill for ages and Grace has not helped with her shenanigans. Quite a lot of GNs are still together after many years of marriage.

I would not mind living in St. Andrews but I am too old in the tooth to make a move back to Scotland. Also St. Andrews is not remotely close to a hospital and that is one thing to keep in mind, certainly for me.

I get all nostalgic when someone mentions St Andrews - swimming at the West Sands in the summer when we visited Granny; and then four years allegedly studying. Why did I never learn to play golf? What a waste!

I always believed golf was a good walk ruined anno so no loss really.

I have heard that said too, annsixty - but then DH says that a walk has no point at all unless it has a purpose - fresh air, exercise and lovely scenery are apparently not purpose enough!

Did you live in one of the villages near St A's charleygirl?
One memory of those days was how bl**dy cold the winters could be!! Those scarlet gowns regularly served as extra blankets . But we were hardier in those days!
That said, sunbathing using one's gown as a picnic blanket/bathrobe also used to feature. The stories those sand dunes could tell
