I thought that we had already reached the 1000 messages. Maybe we haven't. Anyway...for when we do, here's the new extension. I'm making it warm and cosy and there are date slices to be enjoyed. Rory has claimed his corner of the sofa. wink

Phew, I'm hoping I can put the worry beads away.
Keep smiling the Soops.

Lona Sun 15-Dec-13 08:34:40

soop is coming home on Monday pm, according to her son, so great news sunshine

Ariadne Sun 15-Dec-13 09:56:31

Even better! He has been posting on FB.

Charleygirl Sun 15-Dec-13 10:39:47

OMG that is tomorrow! At least mrsoop will not have that horrendous journey to the hospital and back once soop is safely home.

Rory will be pleased to see her, thinking that he had been neglected.

soop must really take it easy once she gets home as she is not out of the woods yet.

Have just been speaking to soop on the phone. It was a delight to hear her sounding so much better. She sends her love to you all.

Smashing, thanks bags. It's good to know she is on the mend.

Elegran Sun 15-Dec-13 11:37:57

AlieOxon Sun 15-Dec-13 15:24:23

So glad to hear soop is better. sunshine
Don't ALL bring holly for the hall.....!

Myself have been struggling with a bad throat and cough, enough to make me cancel the U3A dinner I was going to on Tuesday....
.....I am supposed to be part of the singing group for the entertainment afterwards, but having spoken to my sister on the phone just now and started coughing again, I don't think I will be singing, and wonder if I will get there at all!

Agus Sun 15-Dec-13 15:59:46

Very good news. Brightened up a dreich day sunshine

Elegran Sun 15-Dec-13 16:23:36

soop just rang my mobile! She is feeling better enough now to find it boring to have no-one to talk to and is looking forward to going home tomorrow, but thinks she may not be on to the forum quite immediately. I'd put money on it not being long before she is back in the kitchen though.

It was very odd - I heard this miaowing in the kitchen, thought a cat had got in there, but could not find one, started searching the house and then remembered that i had set the ring-tone for an aunt with cats (not a catty aunt) to a miaow. Checked missed calls and it was Soop I must have set her to miaow as well and forgotten about it. It was as though Rory was calling me!

Marelli Sun 15-Dec-13 16:54:25

tchgrin! Everything's falling into place again! tchsmile

soop Sun 15-Dec-13 16:54:55

Probably the last message from me, Mister Soop, as you have heard the brilliant news. Yes, tomorrow I shall trot up to Oban and return my Dearly Beloved to the bosom of her family - Rory the indoor cat, Tortoiseshell the outdoor cat, all the finches and tits, the two wild pheasants...and, of course, Me! She will be so busy on the net that I may have to create my own netperson in order to have a conversation with her. Now there's a thought [Thanks for that idea That Bags]. Meanwhile, thanks to all for the massive support for Soop and also for me.........

jinglbellrocks Sun 15-Dec-13 16:56:39

That's good. smile

Marelli Sun 15-Dec-13 16:58:09

Mr Soop, a pleasure! flowers xx

Elegran Sun 15-Dec-13 16:58:43

A happy ending! Yes, you will need to find your own username now, Mr S. Soop will want hers back once she gets her feet under her own table again.

MiceElf Sun 15-Dec-13 16:59:26

Lovely news. And how nice to see you in the kitchen. You could join as Rory's butler and tell us the truth about who spoils him most.

tiggypiro Sun 15-Dec-13 17:00:00

Great news ! Sending up the mince pies as we speak

annodomini Sun 15-Dec-13 17:58:27

Good news (or, in Elegran's case, good mews). Take care Mr Soop. And do get your own identity or we shall miss you. tchsmile
