The butcher I buy from in our local market puts marrow bones in a tray for people to help themselves. I suspect a lot of people take them for their dogs. I use them for stock. Either way, how good is that?

I am in her local library but I may not have time to get in again before we fly to France (well, Geneva) next Monday.

I'm off to shorten a top and it promises to be tricky. The end result could be a perfect fit...or, a heap of off-cuts on the floor that would have been better left as part of the garment. She who dares...and all that codswallop!

Took forever to re-fashion the top [purchased on eBay for a song] lots of mess: dropped pins, tangled thread, bad temper [mine] but end result is pleasing.
