My dd has been on the receiving end of anonymous letters, it is very unpleasant and the police take it very seriously.

How would that happen? I have not got a clue where anybody lives- the county maybe but no closer. I certainly do not know where phoenix lives and why should l?

Somebody printed off a thread and posted it (anonymously) to someone associated with me, nice!

Two first class stamps, no expense spared, was there!

So someone who may or may not know you in RL Phoenix but does know the person to whom the copy of the thread was sent?

The trouble is, if you google something, sometimes a GN thread will come up as the answer to your question.

If it was the thread I am thinking of it would not be difficult to identify "someone" well known to * Phoenix*

I must say that both myself and GNHQ were pretty gobsmacked (to use the vernacular), but it would appear that there is someone out there who is spiteful and malicious!

When I think about it there is information on here which could potentially identify quite a few GNetters to someone determined to cause trouble. We should all be aware of this I'm afraid...
