It's Friday 13th tomorrow...

Well I've got a mammogram! Eeek!,

I was just thinking about that! Wondering whether to actually go out at all. But as I have been cooped up indoors today, watching Xmas puds boiling, I shall throw caution to the four winds and go anyway.

Oh - don't worry kitty. It will soon come and soon be over with. You will be fine. Never exactly enjoyable though.

And that is the day I have to travel an hour or so to go and see a neurologist about the results of my brain scan - what a day to pick!

I wonder how many people, if any, do cancel or postpone appointments?

Rub your heads on a black cat before you go anywhere, and good luck will follow you ( as well as a quantity of fur on your hair and a flea or two.)

I've a hair appointment and not a superstitious bone in my body so there will be no cancelling, not from my end anyway.

Well not unless this gale force wind fells a tree and blocks my path!

Aww lg. It will be fine. An hour is a right bugger bummer any day though.

It's not the travelling - it's the significance of the results of the scan that I would rather not discuss on Friday 13th!

It's just another day. Results, good or bad things will not happen just because of a certain number.

My DD and SIL are flying off for a well deserved holiday tomorrow, I wish they weren't!! My Mum was quite superstitious and would never change the calendar from 12th to 14th. I seem to be getting more like her every year.

I have a bit of an awkward meeting, if I survive my mammogram , with the lady who 'runs' our village and is on the library committee. Micro managing doesn't come into it!

Oh, and I do have a black cat so I will be especially nice to him in the morning for all of us!

I too have a hair appointment, and also a lovely black cat!

And it's our GORGEOUS red haired DGS's FOURTH birthday!!

It's a lucky day for me. DH was born on Friday 13th and I landed my dream job on Friday 13th way back in '78.

doesn't bother me one little bit, I have to say ...

It's just a date, but should I see a ladder across my path, I shall go round it - just in case someone drops a roof tile on my head, of course.

Tomorrow I'm visiting the Tower of London - hope my head remains attached to my body...

My brother and I where born on Friday 13th mum always said it was the luckiest day of her life.bless her.

My bad luck came a day early-managed to scrape both car doors and take chunk out of alloy wheel trying to negotiate dd1's very tight driveway in howling wind and rain. I also got my feet absolutely soaked as drain in the middle of the drive had overflowed and I didn't see it in the dark. Ankle deep in freezing water with dgd shouting 'I'll be late for Cubs!' Had to drive home with bare feet. NOT a happy bunny.
