I am also putting the tree up Nina. I hope to make a chocolate log and a vat of bread sauce if I can summon up the wherewithal to get out of bed!

Thick frost and very cold but also nice and bright in north essex this morning. Going to my eldest sons today its his 60th birthday. I really do feel old [smile smile smile]

Good morning everyone, it is bright and frosty here too. I am supposed to be going to a Carol Service with lunch before hand, with friends, however I have a very dodgy stomach and wondering if I can make the hour long journey, then lunch, then the service, then the hour long journey home. Dull, grey and depressing in N. Staffs. Hopefully our tree will go up at some point today, need to motivate DH to brave the loft!

Morning all. A big change in the weather today, frost and snow have been replaced by wind and rain.

Dark already here after a beautiful sunny day spent in Sydney....my last of six whole weeks of holiday in Australia. Heading back to the cold grey UK tomorrow for lots of cuddles with DGS and DDs.
