Tonight!

A welcome relief from election woes and far more easy on the eye.

Bring it on.

I commented to DH that perhaps, with his dark good looks, Aiden Turner would make a good Bond. "Nah," he said. "He's only three feet tall!" (We had watched him in the Hobbit film the night before when he played one of the dwarves! He got the love interest in that too! Sort of!). Roll on the new series.

Oh, I'm going to miss it! Sunday nights aren't going to be the same for a while. Good to see that Rowella was looking towards the endgame. What's the betting there never was a baby?

Poldark finishes hurray- what a depressing programme.

Considering that he seems to have spent a fair amount of time sucking the toes of ladies of the night for whom, I'm sure, foot hygiene would not have been much of a priority, I'm surprised Rev Whitworth managed to make it to the end of the series in rude enough health to stand up, let alone father children!

Yuk, gd!!

We used to joke that dh had a foot fetishism as he used to get the kids to pull his socks off for him after work - but, very, very slowly! grin

Teetime Mon 07-Aug-17 11:08:34

Ew! I knew a mad psychiatrist once who had a foot fetish and eventually cut a toe of one of his ladies - they put him away!!

I don't think there is a baby either, conniving little miss!! Well done though, saving her sister from Ozzie.

They did show a forlorn oak leaf which was supposed to portray the depths of winter - and Demelza still in a low-cut dress and frolicking in the sand dunes.
It doesn't seem to rain much either!
and where are the children? I forget how many Ross and Demelza have because we never see any - apart from one shot with them asleep in one bed.

Jalima1108 Mon 07-Aug-17 11:15:04

talking about children - I do like Geoffrey Charles

kittylester Mon 07-Aug-17 14:58:58

Geoffrey Charles comes from near here!! sunshine

Jalima1108 Mon 07-Aug-17 15:00:09

He's very good!!

merlotgran Mon 07-Aug-17 15:40:17

I wish they hadn't got rid of Jud. He was one of my favourite characters and his scenes with little Jeremy were great. The child actor obviously liked Phil Davies because he was always grinning at him in a very natural way.

kittylester Mon 07-Aug-17 15:47:37

I lied.blush. Well, in my defence dd3 lied. She told me Geoffrey Charles comes from the next village - he doesn't! blush

Jalima1108 Mon 07-Aug-17 15:55:23

He's from Lincoln I think

Jalima1108 Mon 07-Aug-17 15:58:24

merlotgran
T'int right, T'int fair, T'int proper

But I think he'll be back.

callgirl1 Mon 07-Aug-17 16:56:12

He`d better be!

merlotgran Mon 07-Aug-17 17:51:49

I read somewhere that Tholly Tregirls replaced Jud as the token lovable rogue because he was important to the storyline in this last series.

Shame.
