I have watched Easties since it started in a mindless sort of way. However I was absolutely drawn in by last nights episode. I've never been left so shattered by a TV programme before. Cabin fever? Good writing? Good acting? No idea why!!

The killer will be revealed on Thursday (one of the 2 shows will be completely live!) as the show started on the 19th February 1985. Friday will just be the fallout.

I see Lauren was holding something in front of her stomach yesterday and has gone off in the infamous taxi!!

soontobe Wed 18-Feb-15 11:31:00

Ah yes, the taxis!

I will not be in my own house tomorrow evening. I shall have to ask nicely to watch it on someone else's tv!
I dont want to find out the answer before I have watched the episode.

soontobe Don't they sometimes film different endings to these cliff hanger stories ? so even the cast don't know until it is televised,I know they have done that in other soap stories.I'm putting my guesses on Ben but I'm very rarely right with predictions hmm

soontobe Wed 18-Feb-15 12:28:33

Oh they might have different endings.
I am beginning to wish I read some tv guides. But I dont like knowing too much. And I dont like seeing behind the scenes stuff.

I'm rubbish with predictions too.
I am wondering if someone on this thread has predicted correctly.
We will know tomorrow evening.

Was it a taxi she left in? It just looked like a car to me. She got I the back so I wondered who was driving. So many questions? Red herrings? The viewing public is agog (well at least I am!)

Just seen that there was a fire on the set just after the live show last night.... Omen?

soontobe Wed 18-Feb-15 14:37:46

It could have been that everything is a bit chaotic.

I dont think that the majority of gransnetters are agog! smile

I am! I have ordered a Chinese meal for myself for tomorrow (Chinese New Year) and will hunker down watching Eastenders, Sewing Bee and Cucumber. Great evening to come. I just hope I have enough money to get rid of my son for the evening grin

Gransnet - a world apart. hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 18-Feb-15 17:18:46

I thought she left the square in one of Max's cars. She picked up the keys from the hall table on her way out.

kittylester Wed 18-Feb-15 17:44:10

DD and I have decided to watch the last ten minutes of the previous episode before we watch the next one!! We are not really sad, are we?

Pittcity Wed 18-Feb-15 20:42:58

Lauren didn't get very far....

And Tanya fluffed her live lines... "How's Adam? " instead of Ian shock

soontobe Wed 18-Feb-15 20:44:23

Personally I didnt glean much tonight.

I only noticed one fluffed line.
When Tanya said to Jane "How's Adam?" instead of saying "How's Ian?"

I thought that Jane and Ian acted well.

soontobe Wed 18-Feb-15 20:45:08

x post!

Jane10 Wed 18-Feb-15 20:50:12

Drat! I've spent ages trying to work out who Adam is! I had all sorts of theories too. Och! Nice to see Tan though.

Pittcity Wed 18-Feb-15 21:03:19

Did you notice that Tamwar was live tweeting?

soontobe Wed 18-Feb-15 21:06:31

Oh is that what he was doing. Clever.

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 19-Feb-15 09:34:16

And today - being the day of the double episode huge reveal - I am flying off to the frozen North well beyond the reach of BBC1. shite

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 19-Feb-15 09:43:24

My bet is on Cindy. She would have been at that house, and her mother was inclined to murder.

kittylester Thu 19-Feb-15 10:01:53

I thought it might be her during last night's edition, jings!

Jane10 Thu 19-Feb-15 10:36:26

So many red herrings! Don't go jings how can you miss this final denoument?!

numberplease Thu 19-Feb-15 16:13:25

I have to record it as I won`t be back from hospital visiting in time. I`m still trying to work out what triggered Emma`s attention at Christmas, when she looked across the street at the houses, and started her campaign off.

Jane10 Thu 19-Feb-15 20:29:25

Jane!

Pittcity Thu 19-Feb-15 20:31:46

How could so many things happen in one episode and all of them unbelievable.

I was most shocked at Kathy returning from the dead as we all knew whodunit!

FREE DOT!!!

I told you so! Without "outing" myself, my maiden name was that of a famous detective! I'm glad I did him proud. x
