I have watched Easties since it started in a mindless sort of way. However I was absolutely drawn in by last nights episode. I've never been left so shattered by a TV programme before. Cabin fever? Good writing? Good acting? No idea why!!

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 15-Feb-15 17:42:30

Can't believe I'm going to be in flippin' Sweden when they do the big reveal. hmm

soontobe Sun 15-Feb-15 17:45:37

Maybe??

Was Jane around when Lucy was killed?

I think that is has got something directly to do with the Beale family.

soontobe Sun 15-Feb-15 17:47:00

Oh NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shock smile
Bad timing!

J52 Sun 15-Feb-15 18:07:15

Soontobe, I though Jane, posted on 2/1/15. My monies still on her! x

J52 Sun 15-Feb-15 18:07:47

Sorry ' money's' x

soontobe Sun 15-Feb-15 18:09:58

Ha ha!

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 15-Feb-15 18:12:35

I can't believe it though. Not Jane. Surely.

Oh it's all too much! grin

J52 Sun 15-Feb-15 19:09:55

Jane was looking out of her window (allegedly) when Lauren told the police that she did not go into the Beales house. Jane backed her up. Lauren seemed to think that weird. Was she lying? Were they both lying??
Question, questions...........

I think it's Peter.

Jings Agree with you regarding Mick, very sexy.

My favourite soap at the moment. It must be hard to produce what is effectively a film length in total episodes per week.

Roll on this week, especially Thursday. We don't have Jack this time fluffing his lines. grin

I think that they have cleverly put in the bit about her being pregnant as well. Partly to make her look and act awkward around Peter. And possibly Cindy. And her dad as well? Could be wrong!

Having had further thoughts overnight, I am going to say first choice, Ben and Jay.
Would that be why she is funny when around Abby?

re Thursday's episode.
[I havent seen any magazine covers or spoilers]

Will Kim give birth then, just to add to all the drama? If she did, she has some difficult acting coming up.

soontobe Mon 16-Feb-15 10:31:11

Oh, and the Carters' dad die?

And I am presuming that Jane and Ian wont marry?

I dont want to know spoilers. Probably best if I didnt say anything.

kittylester Mon 16-Feb-15 10:35:56

I think Abi or Peter - possibly Jane. Definitely not Jay!

Lauren actually is pregnant!

soontobe Mon 16-Feb-15 10:54:29

They could have left the bit about her being pregnant in the show out. And had her have time off for another reason?

True, Jay is stretching it. He would have had to have helped Ben cover his tracks I presume. And felt he was in too deep to say anything??

I cant quite bring myself to think it was Peter. And I dont think he would have been able to murder his sister. Not on purpose. It could have been an accident though.
I think that Lauren would be behaving more oddly towards Peter, if she knew it was him, than she is doing.

soontobe Mon 16-Feb-15 11:08:08

Ronnie wake up?

Phil reappearing?

It is set to be a drama filled episode. With a lot of the characters involved in it.

Pittcity Mon 16-Feb-15 11:21:20

Richard Blackwood is to be introduced as a new character during the live episodes and they are going to recreate the first scene finding Nick's body this time.

I am so miffed that we have to wait until tomorrow for our fix because of the bloomin' football.sad

Pittcity Mon 16-Feb-15 11:26:48

...and Jacqueline Jossa (Lauren) had a little girl yesterday... So she was cutting it fine if she is in the live episodes!

tanith Mon 16-Feb-15 11:32:20

confused All power to her if she is going to manage to be in the live episode on Friday... maybe she'll bring baby along grin

soontobe Mon 16-Feb-15 11:32:34

aw lovely, re her girl.

Heck, I wouldnt want to do a live episode four days after giving birth.

kittylester Mon 16-Feb-15 11:47:59

As I understand it, there are live bits in the episodes this week not whole live episodes.

soontobe Mon 16-Feb-15 13:03:34

oh, I see.

PRINTMISS Mon 16-Feb-15 15:36:55

What will happen to Dot with all the bad things she has been up to lately?Perhaps it will also be revealed what they do with their children; they never seem to be around for too long; and how to have the money for all the booze they consume, when they are stony broke. Lots of other revelations! I still think Peter is the murderer, although I hope not.

Pittcity Mon 16-Feb-15 16:15:23

There are live bits in 5 episodes but the episode where the killer is revealed on Friday will be entirely live.
6 episodes this week - Tuesday, Wednesday and 2 on Thursday and Friday!

It was on BBC Breakfast this morning. They interviewed Ian and Tracy who have been in it since episode one. It was also mentioned that although there are still EastEnd Street markets most of the local pubs have closed or become chain restaurants. The houses would be worth over a million so the locals can't afford to live there.

Pittcity Tue 17-Feb-15 21:31:45

Loved it when Mick told Peggy to "Get outta my pub!!! "

soontobe Tue 17-Feb-15 22:01:04

6 episodes! <faints>
If the killer is revealed on Friday, it isnt Abi??
Are they going to make it look like it was all sorts of people until Friday?

Didnt relise that Tracy has been in it since the beginning. Well done her! A strange job really. A non talking actress. Bet she didnt think that she would be doing that for a living.

I whizz some parts of some episodes. I whizzed some of the Dot/Nick bits. Then he was dead and I dont exactly know why. Did Dot let him die after he had some bad heroin?

I notice the EELive bit in the corner of the screen. I will have to whizz through tonights episode again.

soontobe Wed 18-Feb-15 10:21:54

Only the first two scenes, and last 2 had the EELive bit on.

Was that so the plot could be kept as secret as possible for as long as possible?
But the next few weeks filming will have already been done, so the cast and crew will all have known within the last few weeks.
Well done them for keeping schtum.
