Reform men have already decided what the role of Reform women should be:
A tweet from, Darren, one of the balaclava “patriots”, those morons who are doxxing RNLI volunteers.
Darren: If we have to mobalii (sic) on mass their (sic) is a job for everyone men on the front line women can always make sandwiches or bring water if we all their (sic) for long duration
Woman's reply: F* off and make your own sandwiches.
Peter Chappell’s book What If Reform Wins is a good read.
Gaby Hinsliff's Guardian review from April 2026:
a political thriller that bothis and isn’t fiction, sketching the imagined arc of a Reform government from triumph to disaster.
Without giving too much away, the fault lines it identifies within Reform – including the risk of infiltration by extremists, represented here by a strictly imaginary character who nonetheless strongly reminds me ofareal person hovering somewhere near its fringes – are realistic enough. As a “nonfiction thriller”, it’s convincing. As an analysis of Reform in power, my only worry is that Chappell may be too optimistic about the speed with which things fall apart. Let’s hope he’s a better forecaster than me.
Yesterday, watching the increasing unhinged Zia Yusuf nodding along like a puppet as Tommy Robinson’s former bodyguard, convicted criminal Danny Thomas, dictated terms to him, Chappell seems to have that part, at least, spot on.
