Commercialised horse racing gives pleasure as does cruelty to low value horses in bull fighting

I’m sure you didn’t mean that cruelty to low value horses in bull-fighting gives anybody pleasure?

Too many non-sequiturs for this thread to make any sense.

In Spanish- type bull fighting low value worn- out horses are used by the picadors. Despite these horses wearing thick padding against the bulls' horns they are sometimes gored and disembowelled by the bull.

The horses used are Andalusian and Lusitano, they are breed for their stamina.

Nonsense who told you that ? Picadors' horses are animals that are not fit for other sorts of work.

Even modern padding is not adequate when the bull lowers his head and gores them up their bellies.

Bingo and the lottery is a form of gambling. Why should it be banned because a small percentage of the population don't have self control.
Alot of the population like a bet they gamble responsibly. Leave them to their pleasure.
I am sick of bowing to the minority. If these people can't be responsible with their gambling they would find something else to get into debt.

Yes it was we used to ride up into the Campo and be out most of the day.

A long lunch when the sun was at its highest.

Children aren't usually married!

Children are not allowed to gamble either, the legal age is 18 even for buying a lottery ticket.

All sport is based on gambling. Individuals and teams compete for something and people watching will place bets with each other over who will win. i tmight be a fiver, tenner or a pint.

There is gambling in every commercial sport including tennis, football, rugby. If legal gambling is banned illegal gambling replaces it.

I do not know which I find most boring sport or gambling.

Well, ending the ads might happen. I'm showing my age now, but advertising gambling seems relatively recent to me.
