Is anyone actually surprised? They will literally try anything to get into the UK.

Can you provide some evidence, Primrose ?

No, I am not totally doubting you, that it's been used, but just saying it is so isn't enough - some details, the extent, who is doing this, some examples, any facts etc?

Go on then, I’ll bite …… this time. But expect even this won’t be good enough.

Au contraire, as I watched the BBC News tonight, You are right - it's appallingly true.

There was an awful interview with a woman who had been domestically abused and managed to get out, then her abuser claimed she had coercively abused him and was he'd for a time by the police until she produced evidence.

My view of anyone legal who backs this is just about unprintable.

It totally disgusts me that lawyers are colluding with these lies. It should be against the law and dealt with accordingly.

Not colluding but instigating.

Hopefully, those featured in the reports will be prosecuted and disbarred.

An update:

The immigration lawyer, cited in the BBC article as: We showed our footage to Ana Gonzalez, an expert immigration lawyer with 30 years' experience. has published a post on her Linkedin page claiming that the BBC article was unbalanced and didn't report some of her comments which would have altered its perspective.

Basically, she says that the tactics being pushed by the people featured in the report are little more than a scam and would be highly unlikely to be accepted by the Home Office for granting AS status.

People lie to get what they want. Always have and always will.
