Very common. Can occur in kids as old as 9 or 10. I teach pediatric nursing and tell my students that the most important question to ask is if they've ever been dry. If the answer is "no" it's likely down to bladder immaturity. If the answer is "yes" and this is a recent onset, we start looking for triggers. Stress, bladder infections, and even diabetes can cause bed wetting in children.
