I'd hurry indoors in a fright
And get myself right out of sight
I'd tremble and shake

I'd hurry indoors in a fright
And get myself right out of sight
I'd tremble and shake
Maybe cause an earthquake

I'd hurry indoors in a fright
And get myself right out of sight
I'd tremble and shake
Maybe cause an earthquake
Wouldn't put up much of a fight

Better to be safe than sorry,

Better to be safe than sorry
Try not to get killed by a lorry
Do keep your distance
On my insistence

Better to be safe than sorry
Try not to get killed by a lorry
Do keep your distance
On my insistence
I really don't want to worry

My driving skill's seen better days

My driving skill's seen better days
The roads around here are a maze
Cars all go too fast
Close behind horns blast

The roads around here are a maze
Cars all go too fast
Close behind horns blast,
The road rules nobody obeys.

Perhaps I'll buy a horse instead,
Maybe he'll talk like Mister Ed
I’ll ride side-saddle

Perhaps I'll buy a horse instead,
Maybe he'll talk like Mister Ed
I'll ride side-saddle
Go for a paddle

Perhaps I'll buy a horse instead,
Maybe he'll talk like Mister Ed
I'll ride side-saddle
Go for a paddle,
But I'll fall off and hurt my head.

I might end up in A and E,

That sure sounds a romantic date
With someone who is just a ‘mate’
They do it in Venice

I might end up in A and E
Be seen by that awful McPhee

I might end up in A and E
Be seen by that awful McPhee
She's in charge tonight
She'd give me a fright

She's in charge tonight
She'd give me a fright,
I can't wait to be just set free.

It's sunny where I am, you bet!
