Were our childhoods always sunny?
I'm sure they were, I'd bet money
Well, that's what we remember

I’ve altered lines to keep the Limerick rhythm

Were our childhoods always sunny?
I'm sure they were, I'd bet money
That we remember
Until September
When back to school is not funny.

We thought they would forever last
Great family times
Seemed far fewer crimes

Summer holidays went so fast
We thought they would forever last
Great family times
Seemed far fewer crimes
And those golden days just whizzed past

The tiger went out for a walk

The tiger went out for a walk
To find some poor creature to stalk
It spotted a Cheetah
And wanted to eat her
But parrots gave a warning squawk

And strong wind is blowing beside
Brolly inside out
Remember a drought?
My garden just gave in and died

Deep snow is a thing of the past
It was good for having a blast
Loved making snow balls
And building ice walls
