Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Pouring rain here and most of the night.
A shame the roofer didn't fix the roof last week. He's supposed to start tomorrow.
I had hoped my house was watertight but when we had the last downpour a ceiling was dripping and a bedroom wall wet to the touch.

A house clearance firm is coming this afternoon to see my house and to talk me through how they work.

I've been "decluttering" for so long now but not made nearly enough impact.

I hope to be ready to move out in September.

Meanwhile I still have painful sciatica and a chiropractor appointment today.

A full body massage sounds wonderful FGT. I wonder where I could go for that.

Thinking of those on the move today and of those unwell.

Have a great day everyone or as best you can.

Good morning from cloudy Leicestershire.

My DH has an ultrasound and pre-op today and an operation on Friday. When his consultant decides to do something he doesn’t mess around for which we are very grateful.
I am still crippled with sciatica but fortunately can still drive.

Wishing everyone the best day possible.

Good morning from wet South Lanarkshire.

Yesterday we spent a pleasant afternoon with the daft dug walking on an almost deserted beach. I picked up a few bits of sea glass and one or two beautiful pebbles. I did wonder if buying a rock tumbler would be a good idea but have decided that I have enough half finished projects of one kind or another to be going on with.

Charity shop shift today, we will see what the day brings.

Wishing everyone the best day possible, especially those with troubles to bear.

Good morning from a warm, very humid Durham. Frustrating start - the Locksmith didn’t turn up before 9.30 as arranged, now I’m waiting to see my dentist who is running late! I’m fed up with this long, expensive treatment.

Best wishes to all. X

Good morning all
I decided to do all my chores earlier. Going to have a shower now. Weather is showers and gusts of wind occasionally. Still warm but pleasant.
Going to podiatrist today.
DH has just gone out he keeps busy.
Have the best day you can.

Good Morning from a sunny Co Armagh, we are promised rain later
I’m wondering if I should chance hanging the washing out ,

We had a lovely day in a NT garden , the volunteers were weeding , they told us the heavy mulching meant the plants had never dried out
Wishing everyone a pleasant day

BlueSapphire I have also bought a new translation of The Odyssey,,,the Mendelssohn one, is that yours? I also bought Stephen Fry’s take on it, it’s well reviewed, one of his Greek Myths series.

Ekwa & BlueS if you enjoy Greek myths & legends try Pat Barker's Women of Troy trilogy which is a retelling of the Iliad from a woman's perspective. I thoroughly recommend.
