We have one of those things you wipe down windows with and use it to take the water off the shower panels

I hate it too. Enjoy a lovely shower and then have to do cleaning :-(
I have friends who use a spray after each shower but I really don't want to use chemicals daily nor buy a single use plastic spray bottle.
Currently I use a squeegee after each shower and a steam cleaner now and again.
We are about to refit a bathroom and I'm tempted to go back to a shower curtain which can be thrown in the wash.
Very interested to read what other say.

I use a large window cleaning blade, a quick wipe down the glass panels takes all the water off and I only have to clean it once a month or so with a cleaning product. It takes a minute before I step out of the shower. My shower stays sparkly clean.

We have a walk in shower with a large glass panel and all I do is take off the excess water off the tiles and glass with a squeegee and then dry all with a microfibre cloth. No spray required. Takes minutes. Comes up a treat.

I use a couple of E cloths to wipe the glass panels etc and asort of flat mop on an extendable pole to wipe the tiles each time I have a shower. About once a week while the bathroom walls are still damp I wipe down all the walls - fully tiled shower room. Bathroom always sparkling and no big job.
Occasionally the tray starts to get signs of mould in the corners so I use a spray from Lakeland which is sprayed on and left for 20 mins and rinsed off - works well.

Have very hard water. Use a squeegee which hangs on a hook inside and once a week I use a nylon body scrub with shampoo or whatever is around and then hose off with shower. Squeegee if I’m being keen. Thorough cleaning with vinegar about every 6 months. Shower is supposed to have scale resistant glass and I don’t want to ruin it with chemicals. Been installed for around 5 years and still looks fine.

I squirt Method daily shower shine on all the surfaces before I leave the shower.
We too have hard water and this works a treat.

I gave daughter one of these when she had her new bathroom fitted. Even her teenage boys use it.

Vonners, yes, in my next house there will be no glass in the shower room! Either a wet room or a simple shower curtain will be far more convenient.

Another thing I won't have is anything stainless steel in the kitchen. I'm fed up to the back teeth with cleaning the cooker hood, dishwasher and drawer fronts - they show every little fingerprint and speck of dust!

I clean one wall each day-three tiled walls, and one wall which is two sliding glass doors. I use ecover or similar.

I use the Method Daily Shower spray.
Before that, I used dilute bleach in a spray bottle to very good effect.

Gonegirl, thanks! I have a window vac that (strangely) I only use for the windows (don't clean them very often, though)!

It 'lives' (recharging) in the garage. I think a move to near the shower room is in order!

Is Method the best of those types of sprays?
I haven't got a shower but have hard water too, and want to keep everything free of limescale.

Anyone know how best to use a squeegee on a curved quadrant shower screen?

Sometimes less is better ?

Yes, so much easier to sling the curtain in the wash! My daughter has moved into a house where the water is very hard. Limescale everywhere! She's saving up for a water softener - another 'essential' for my next place too!

Shower curtain here too. It just goes in the wash whenever I temember.

Like others, I take the water off the tiles and door with a squeegee before I get out of the shower (Lakeland make one for showers), then use an e-cloth to wipe it all over. That's all I ever do, apart from using drain unblocker very occasionally. The shower been used most days for 6 years (since it was installed). It still looks shiny.

It's easier to clean the shower as soon as it has been used. The limescale doesn't get a chance to build up because hard water isn't left on the surface (which allows the calcium carbonate to crystallise out as the surface of the glass and tiles dries). It helps if the shower room is well ventilated too.

MissAdventure - don’t know if it’s the best but it does work for me. It at least “delays” any build up and is more environmentally friendly than most.

We have a shower in a very small bathroom. Despite opening windows and squeegeeing the shower regularly, it seemed to attract a lot of mould. I had it professionally cleaned and now use a Karcher window vac after each shower,and then wipe down with e cloth.
