PJs, Nightie, Onesie.

I wear a nightie and it has to be long and warm. I have a very indulgent one from Toa.st, warm and soft, but reasoned it is worth the money as I spend a lot of time in it. I am seriously thinking of making one because they are getting rare. I don't like PJs and excuse me, a onesie is that thing for small children. A babygro. I wish I could spend longer in bed but alas get dressed for 8am brekkie and try to be in bed by 11pm.

Nightie which goes on when I go to bed around 10pm. I get up around 6-6.30 and shower as soon as I can, depending on when son gets in there before he goes to work.
I usually stay in dressing gown for half an hour after while I have my coffee and then dress and get on with housework or go to work.

I like my first cup of tea in the mornings, about 8-ish, in my fleecy pyjamas, but get dressed after my shower at about 8.30am.
Usually I stay dressed until bedtime, about 11pm, but now and then I get into my pyjamas and dressing gown about mid-evening.

Sleep in the altogether, so get up somewhere between 3.30 and 7.30, into my comfy jinjams or onesie. Get dressed after my coffee/porrige/toast & marmalade or whatever. Back into onesie when I know I won't have to go out again.

I lived in Egypt for 13 years and got used to wearing galabayas, (Kaftans) and I still do. I hardly ever go out due to disability so really live in a kaftan. I have quite a few and am often complimented on them, they are easy to wear, comfortable and decent if you have visitors. I usually sleep commando, can't do with clothes rucking up and twisting round. i live alone so no one to scare at the sight of my naked body.

Cotton nighties for me. (Often taken off in the night if I'm too hot.) DH wears cotton nightshirts. We both add pyjama trousers for pottering around the house, and we love to get into our night attire for an evening's telly watching.

Any time after 5pm earlier the better ! Then get dressed after eating breakfast and washing up. I love my pjs !

I can't ever sleep naked. Always dream I'm in public and wake up panicking!

Often put my pjs on in the evening after having a meal but tend to get dress when I first get up. SueDonim made me smile but I had something else on when I did

Cosy pyjamas but only at bedtime.

I wish I could wear something in bed but I can't. I do sit watching TV in nightshirt & PJ bottoms but once it bed it all has to come off or I just get so hot. Even if I do go to sleep in short-sleeved nightshirt I wake up in morning with it on the floor- I obviously take it off in my sleep. I've tried lower TOG duvets etc. but nothing works- I have had a heat problem all my life.
Luckily DH doesn't feel the cold much either or it could be a very fraught relationship. Saves a fortune in heating bills though!

I put my nightie on (not PJs - they give me wedgies) when I go to bed, usually not long after 10pm. I take it off again to shower in the morning, admittedly not till after breakfast.

I find pyjamas do that to me, really badly!

I get dressed after my first cuppa during the week but at the weekend, if I’m not going out, I luxuriate in my jammies or dressing gown. I have a 7 tog duvet all year ( add a throw in winter) and I sleep in pants only. I’m hot stuff you see and live on my own

I love my pj's. No wedgies for me as I always buy them with a bit of stretch in the fabric, although once I had to add an extra inch and new waistband as they were very short bodied.
Up at 8 in pjs and dressing gown, feed cat and dog and me then shower and dress. I would love to have a duvet day and not get dressed all day but one lively Jack Russell will not forego his walkies.

Nankate I love and agree with what you say xx We should be comfortable in wearing what we like, and not be frowned on. I wear pjs in bed. I did have a Onsie but not now...can't imagine why some are snobby about them ( A friend of mine is) as they save on heating especially if you feel the cold badly like I do. Warm comfortable clothes are now a must. Sometimes I may have a lovely luxurious bath mid afternoon and put on my pjs and a thick dressing gown. Oh and slipper boots are cosy if like me you have stone floors.
I love the fact that I am now at a stage in life I can please myself...it's sheer bliss ! Happy Christmas love x

Fleecy pj bottoms and vest top with a thick warm dressing gown which I usually put on anywhere between 7.30 and 9pm depending on how uncomfortable I am in my clothes and how cold. It all comes off for bed - I can't sleep in anything either. I have fleece bedding in the winter which is luxury and very warm. Always up between 5 - 5.30 so put it all on again until I've got OH off to work and tidied up but I'm usually showered and dressed by 8-8,30. Every weekend I say I'm not getting dressed today but I just can't do it

Seems I am the only one who loves onesies then.
I have two - a plain black fleece one and a red and white spotted fleece reindeer one. They are so cosy for sitting watching tv in the evening on a winters night.

We both sleep in our birthday suits, so get dressed immediately we get up. We do have dressing gowns hanging up in the bathroom, but usually only use them if we are not well.

I never bother opening the door, if I am just out of the bath. If I really had to, I would probably do so draped in my bath towel.

Up about 7 -7.30. Make a cup of tea and watch the bbc news.
Lovely and quiet dh still snoring, gd still in bed college doesn’t start to 10 am. So I get my me time. Love it.

Gave up wearing anything between the sheets in the 60s, a few years before I burned my bra.
