I read a positive about this huge boat, apparently the boats are getting much harder to source in France due to the vigilance of the French.

So these awful traffickers are loading more and more people into the boats they can source.

I think the PM s actually at an emergency cobra meeting today re our own wildfires.

It seems like nothing is happening re the “boats”, but I’m pretty sure much more is going on behind the scenes than we are told.

Whilst I dearly want these boats to stop and the traffickers caught and severely penalised, my concern is about the women and children taking these terrible risks, as well as the men.

They are all humans and are only doing what perhaps many of us would do if we were ever unlucky enough to be in their situation.

I don’t care if these people are men, women or children, actually you, personally, do not know all of their personal circumstances, none of us do, I choose not to judge.

I don’t think it’s for us to judge what our PM prioritises, it’s his job to make these decisions, not ours.

Lobby your MP, if you’re so convinced he’s on the wrong path.

I’ll wait and give him a chance.

If AB is going to be treated in the same appalling way as Starmer in the media and inside Parliament, we’ll end up with multiple PMs again and that helps absolutely no-one.

It is getting worse, I cried when I saw the picture of the baby being held by the arm to be put on the craft.
No life jacket, no protection from the elements, no love or care shown.
You cannot legally transport a baby in a car in France or England without approved restraint yet the powers that be turn a blind eye where these boats are concerned.

The whole situation causes me so much grief, I have concern for the immigrants but I also have huge concern for the UK, when will it stop, how can we keep paying, the knock on effect the NHS, benefits, the long term as these people will need pensions/benefits/and care in their old age.

Finally and most importantly what if it is true we are bringing in an army?

Life vests are available, shelf on shelf in Decathlon stores. I've read they have to be purchased by the passengers, that is why some do have them, some don't have them.

Couldn’t agree more. That poor little baby. This needs to stop and this government needs to get a grip.

Many of the posts on social media are mentioning the fact that most of the occupants of the ‘small boats’ are young men, often referred to as ‘fighting age’ men. This suits Reform & co, as people may infer that these young men may be coming here to fight the patriotic Christian British!
