Talking to friends yesterday and the usual problems were doing the rounds. Something had quite upset me but I was trying to make the best of it. Friend gave me a hug and said "your cup always seems to be half full, never half empty". I suppose I knew what she meant I do try to make the best of things otherwise I sometimes wouldn't cope. Obviously in life's big tragedies no one cares about cups, but in the day to day things in life what would your cup be- half full or half empty?
What is our role as older people?
Good Morning Wednesday 12th August 2026
Ah dear - why does getting older equate to dimished brain power?
. I seem to find more and more to get anxious about as I get older. I am really grateful for what I have but I seem to imagine the worst case scenarios every day.
