Food shop today, not much else planned.

No idea what the weather is like in North Leicestershire as it's still dark. At least I can't hear rain or wind.

Sainsbury's, butchers and post office for me this morning and a friend is coming for a meal this evening.

Good morning. I got up an hour ago because of palpitations. I've fed the cat, had a cup of tea, and I'll start getting ready soon, for work.

Very dark dark here too, but it seems dry so far. I am taking Partner to train station at 7am then onto gym.

Off to hairdressers later, then to Mums for lunch. I was going to DGD's Primary school's annual Bonfire and fireworks display this evening, but it has been postponed due to heavy rain forecast!

Recovering from a child’s funeral yesterday and awaiting the news that a close family members funeral has taken place in another country, it should have finished by now, not a happy couple of weeks. Hopefully things will start to look up, apart from that I’m going to keep busy, yet again, to crowd all of the thoughts out.
We are due storms later so DD and GD are setting off early for home to the West Country, so off to make pancakes for breakfast. Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from a still dark but dry East Northants. Ten pin bowling with U3A this morning, followed by lunch with friends and then dropping off great grandaughter's presents for tomorrow's 5th birthday. Hope it's a good day for all.

I think we are forecast wind and rain this evening but the day should be reasonable here on the south coast. Can't quite believe that the first week on November has already been and gone.

It's WI this morning and DH will meet me afterwards for a pub lunch at our lovely local. They do a pensioner's special which is always freshly cooked, local produce and great value.

Good morning everyone. Dark but dry here in Northampton so far.

Had a good shopping trip to Milton Keynes yesterday - didn't have what I wanted in M&S in my size so I had to order it when I got home, should be ready to collect later on today. Got four Christmas presents, now I've only got DD, DGDs and a friend to get for. Might go over to Rushden Lakes or Leicester even to have a browse. Treated myself to lunch in Cafe Rouge, which was lovely, but oh I did miss DH.

Sainsbury's this morning, then DGDs after school.

Good morning, everyone. First time posting on this thread but I often read it and think how friendly it is. I’m here in Co Wicklow in Ireland by the sea. It’s to be windy but dry here today, definitely time to do some leaves sweeping! Going a a choir practice this morning in a different venue than usual, and to a local cafe tonight for a music session over dinner - a girls night out! Looking forward to that?. Decorators still here, wardrobe man still here!!! Grandma duty later when we pick up GS from preschool, we shall be taking him out to dinner this evening, his choice. So it will either be the Turkish or Indian as he loves lamb.

Good morning from a a yet again windy and rainy Glasgow.
Feeling pretty rough this morning after a particularly painful night with my hands. I cannot have any more treatment for present as it will affect the nerve conduction tests next week, so I just need to grin and bear it. ?
I will have to drag DH to LIDL, as I won't be able to carry anything. He will probably pick up all sorts of items we don't need.
The electrician came yesterday and the kitchen is finished at last. You will all be relieved that I won't be boring you any more.

Annie, your hope therapist lets you know today, otherwise it waill make you anxious with the wait.
Marydoll, no more kitchen stories, but in a good way. Is all OK with the electrics now?
I am now 2/3 of the way through my treatment after today. It has gone surprisingly quickly.
New next door neighbour is coming in for a cuppa later on. She is expexting a baby next month. It is so lovely to have new babies in the road, and we have twins across the way!
