Today I met some angels

I am usually on top of things but today was a bad day.

I was due to meet other GN's in Staines and had got it into my mind that we were meeting in Costa.I got to the station and asked for advice only to be told that there were three but none was in the High Street where we had agreed to meet. Undaunted, I visited two of them and asked various people who were wearing pink and black with glasses (HAZBEEN's description of herself) if they had come to a GN meet up. Stupidly I had forgotten to take anyone's phone number. One of those dressed in pink and black and looking much younger than a GN member was sitting with her friends and they took pity on me after I had wandered up and down for twenty minutes. They said they would keep an eye open and what did my friend look like. I said I had never seen her before. They asked me what her name was so I had to explain about GN and said I did not know her real name only her user name which I did not reveal. They asked me for my name which I told them.

Another twenty minutes passed and when I returned they called me by name and said that I was in the wrong place. They had looked it up on GN and found that I should have been at café Nero. They told me where it was and I set off. Twenty minutes later they appeared to check I had met up with the others. What kind young people there are in Staines.

I call them angels (messengers) as without them I would have missed out on the meet up altogether.blush
Has anyone else met any angels recently ?

I'm so proud of my 14 year old grandson who last night intervened when a middle aged man was abusing an older man on the metro train.
My grandson accompanied the older man off the metro, realising he was quite drunk and twice prevented him from walking in front of traffic.
My grandson asked several passers by for help as he needed to get home and couldn't leave the man. They all just walked on. Finally 3 men came to help.

Solitaire what a kind grandson you have. I hope the man realised his good fortune when he sobered up.
