Having just watched Piers Morgan interviewing two non binery people named Owl and Fox I wondered what you all thought about this new terminology

my cousins child has just started gender reasignment and a friends child who had three horrific years fighting cancer has also made the decion to go from female to male.I have to say the support both these (now) giirls are getting from school/college and their communities has been amazing.I think if gender reasignment had been available and easier to get decades ago there would have been a lot of young people who would have had it done then too.We have a family friend who is gay ...he married age 20 and has 6 children...because thats what was expected of him.Surely its much better that people can be who they believe they are than live a lie like they had too as recently as the late 60's Iam64 theres a huge difference between a tomboy and someone born in the wrong body

My DD has just had my DGS2, he is a boy also a baby, but primarily a boy. When anybody asks what did she have they expect to be told girl/boy not oh she had a babygrin

My DD is in a Lesbian relationship, they went through a Civil Ceremony over 7 years ago & had this converted to a Marriage when the law changed so there is no bias there. I know both my DD & DiL have no interest in being described as "binary".

These people are what my DF would have referred to (lightheartedly) as "middlesex" or another common saying "don't know whether they're Arthur or Martha"confused

As for wanting to be referred to as "they" or "them" words fail me, I'm only 61 so not old by any means, quite what my DM (she's 88) would say, probably not be repeatable & she's broadminded

Why cant people just be who they are, i dont mean sex or gender.Cant they just be so and so that lives there, works here or goes to that school ? Bloody attention seeking is what it is.

Just something else for the Snowflakes to stress about.

I don't understand the term. I thought everything to describe had already been named?
