Excellent post Monica we cannot whine 'It is not fair' when we really mean ' this is not what we want' sometimes I think people confuse those issues, both on Trump and on Brexit.

So things are not all bad then !!

I meant over do the the shock horror reaction to Trump. My feeling to both Trump and Brexit is,it's happened, get over it and get involved.

The sooner those who who didn't support Trump/Brexit accept that democracy is democracy even when the result isn't one you like and realise that Brexit is coming like it or not and Trump is now President and will be for at least the next 4 years and start working positively towards the future the more likely they are to be able to ameliorate the worst excesses of both decisions.

Look how right wing and harsh the Conservatives are now they are not in coalition with the Lib Dems. I am not suggestion the Coalition was perfect or the Lib Dem decisions in government were always wise, but they were able to stop some of the worst excesses of Conservatism and introduce some measures of their own.

As another (American?) poster said on another thread:
now they are going to see just how powerless the office of the president actually is.

So what is all the fuss about?
