The understanding in most of the groups I belong to is that he will make the USA a better place for rich white males. He has already given instructions to his staff to identify anyone working to end violence against women and get rid of them. He is also appointing people who support violence against various minorities. The biggest danger will be when he insists on the UK imposing similar measures to keep US investment here.

Well......I'm hopeful and somewhat intrigued. I am very disenchanted with past and present politicians of all colours and persuasions. I'm certainly not 'worried'. That could make me ill or unhappy and would change nothing. One member of a recent (May) holiday group was a mature a practising American lawyer who laughed but sincerely told us to ignore the Trump thing 'not a chance'. I look forward to seeing what other impossible things he may achieve/impose. Interesting times indeed but I'm not scared. What's the point?

Problem is with such things as nuclear warheads. Though I have never understood why we are allowed to have them and others not.
Trump's racist, xenophobic attitude is very sad - on the other had if he tries to get his compatriots employed, what is wrong with that?
