Gransnet Xmas Panto.

No Problem FB, so long as you enhance your existing charms

I propose to be the Evil Baron Hardup, should be easy.

Sorry I'm not going to enhance anything so I will go for one the ugly sisters, no make up needed.

I don't believe that

Wasn't Florence foster Jenkins that American with a dreadful voice who thought she could sing? Probably a mate of Trumps!

When is this panto? Is it before I go to the deep rolling sea?

This thread is just what I needed to cheer me up. What a talented lot of silly beggars you are keep it going. I love this.

Silly beggars - definitely, talented

I am disappointed that I'm not going to be doing any enhancing or thigh slapping, was looking forward to that bit.

Silly beggars?

Oh no we're not.

Oh Yes we are!

Oh no we are not- especially myself- there!

Actually have we decided on a date?? Things get a bit busy at C**** time.

Charcoal gusset ! Does that mean the theme tune will be "Let it go"

This is my suggestion -- for discusion.

We perform the panto like the story thread.
Decide on a tile, create a separate thread for the panto
(keep this thread for back stage chat)
The leading boy starts the Panto by posting his lines, we each follow on in an organised (that's the first joke) fashion, Just see where the panto takes us.
Anyone can be any character they wish and may change at any time they wish (ie play multiple parts, but not the back and front of the same cow)

We could perform more than one panto, so why don't we start mid Oct.

What do you think ?

Coming in late here, but could I be a fairy with sparkly wings, sparkly shoes, sparkly hair, sparkly and very fluffy dress? Oh and a sparkly wand. I could throw fairy dust over everyone. (Think I have been spending too much time with the granddaughters). I don't have to have a speaking part, just lots of sparkle. I would of course be called Twinkle. Pleeeese? ?

JTP, done you are a fairy (one of several I suspect. but you can never have too many). You should start working on your spells so that you can post them each time you pop up.

Being the " back end of the cow "
I think that I should be allowed to choose my own front end . I will send for the special charcoal knickers in good time but I will need promises from anyone thinking of taking on the part.
1) no beans ( of any kind) to be consumed at least three days prior to performance.
2) must agree to wear said, charcoal
Knickers.
3) must have good bottom muscles for "holding in"

Maybe better add a 4th condition of no curries !

Even the best of charcoal knickers have their limits !

LOL, I'm sure we can impose all those restrictions, but not worry, they haven't created smelly internet yet, so any farts will only be for sound effect.
I wonder if the front end of a cow etc has farted on stage ?

You do know what you have to live up to, don't you?

I am not sure how many of my dancing girls are still here? but I do remember Elegran.

Mamie, looks like you are the ideal choreographer for us.

What I can't find is the actual 2011 panto thread. Very frustrating.
Yes well, as long as you can do the splits and the "hold your foot in your hand with your leg past your ear", there will be a place in the line-up for you....

Ah here it is...

LOL, atm, Mrs P has to put my sock on for me as I can't reach my foot.

wobbly you could be Cinderella and Mrs P could be Buttons putting on the silver slipper (or silver sock)

I want to be Peter Pan. Now all I have to do is hire a winch.
