Gransnet Xmas Panto.

OK So far we have one ugly sister (me) a Baron Hardup (only just got the double meaning for that one and I'm nearly 70!!!) A fairy spreading fairy dust, a Principal Boy and girl, a Peter Pan waiting for a winch and maybe the back end of a Pantomime animal - have I missed anyone out?

How the heck do we put all this together for a Panto?

I can lend my winch to the fairy if that helps

Actually if she is willing she could double up as Tinkerbell and Baron Hardup could double as Hook.
We could have two for the price of one pantomime. BOGOFF!

Oh good. I reckon this will come together quite nicely -- there should be no problem running two pantos at the same time.

Oooooh Tinkerbell! More than I had wished for. I'm up for that. I can do jealous and bad tempered really well! Keep me in mind if you go for Peter Pan panto. Not too sure about the winch though ?

JTP, tinkerbell can pop up in any panto that we do. The virtual winches we use these days are 100% safe (probably) so no need to worry.

The way my IBS is playing up tonight I would be an excellent, bloated Humpty Dumpty, for a Nursery Rhyme themed panto.

Having trouble locating a winch that can deal with the weight I indicated was needed. Will get back asap on that

I am willing to play a second part if it helps. Obviously it can't be my front end ( that would be just plain silly) but I would consider any other small part .

Being a virtual panto, I have found a brand new wireless winch that will take any weight, perfect for us.

Are we having any animals? I will volunteer to look after them, feed the cat the mice for Cinders coach up before they turn into horses, clear up,after the pantomime horse(if necessary). I could be the coach man (or woman in this case).

Have just read what I typed, should have a comma between feeding the cat and the mice for the coach. Sounds as if I am feeding the cat the mice, sorry.

Yes, we must have real animals as well as the panto ones. White mice that turn into beautiful ponies. Millymouge - it's very kind of you to offer to be the cleaner upper after the animals, wouldn't you rather be Cinderella, or Snow White.

You could be an ugly sister with me, because in this panto we aren't really ugly but very chic and stylish. It would be better than cleaning up all that poo.

Relieved to have located a suitable winch, I was having a lot of difficulty. Blimey milly good job we are not into rehearsals there may have been less mice than we'd hoped and fat cats.

Anyone having trouble with their costumes? I found a lovely Peter Pan costume but it is a tad small. I can get one leg in but then there's no room for the other. The hat is fine, and dear little green elf shoes.

Anyone located a place that sells panto stuff for the larger person?

Thanks wobble there is a Peter Pan costume -not the most glamorous or quite what I had in mind but beggars can't be choosers. Perhaps I can adapt it.
