Now we are all back home after our success at the GN Olympics, it is time to turn minds to the Xmas Panto.
So, all you thespians, get your thinking caps on and suggest what we can perform.
If there is a part for a fat, grumpy old git, then I am your man.

We could do "Pussy in Boots" (other chemists are available)

"Jack and his Beanstalk"

"Mother's been Goosed"

Not sure if these are quite correct. OH yes they are ........

As the self appointed dance director-I can show you the moves on stage but it is too long since I had ice skates on and I never tried roller skates. Ice skates would not do too much for my knee replacement if I fell.

Because of our age and previous surgery, nobody would insure us- at least not at anything we could afford and I am talking about £1000 per person per performance so please be careful.

I have paid for an NHS ambulance to stay outside each performance in case one of us or a member of the audience requires it.

Wobbly are you the other ugly sister or are you not having a part on stage? I agree, nice to see you back again.

Wobblybits Fri 30-Sept-16 18:49:29

I can stand in as an ugly sister, let me go get my nurses uniform on.

Wobblybits Fri 30-Sept-16 19:12:05

Ugly Sister enters stg rt, carrying a BEDPAN ?????

hello everyone, Sister Jugular here. don't you think I'm beautiful, it has taken me hours to look like this (does a twirl) some say I'm conceited, but really, I'm only a little vein.
Matron asked me to find the Barron and give him these because he is full of sh.... The box says they are suppositories, but I've lost the instructions, do any of you know where I should put them ?

Morning pantomimes. Pleased to report the front end of the cow is sort of functioning again, but seems to have lost the pantomime sad. Anyone point me in the right direction, but not up a beanstalk please, not too good at climbing. Off to stock up the cupboards, back later.

cornergran Mon 03-Oct-16 08:54:24

Pantomimers.

Flossieturner Mon 03-Oct-16 10:01:37

I worked for many years as a trainer for a large Company. I often used an opening Ice Breaker Game called Pantomime Dame. The idea was that each delegate would write down their fantasy job and give reasons why.

It was called Pantomime Dame, was because that was my dream job. So what ever Pantomime we choose, please can I be Dame.

Flossieturner Mon 03-Oct-16 10:05:54

Just as an aside, once I had a Chief Execurtive who was a huge man. Very powerful in the company and very powerfully built. His dream job was to be a personal shopper for Joan Collins. We thought it was a joke, but he described so many of her outfits and knew so much about her, that it seemed real.

cornergran Tue 04-Oct-16 07:59:50

Pleased to have the company. Oh well, looks like I'll settle down in a corner for a sleep. Has Rumplestiltskin ever been a pantomime ? grin.

Wobblybits Tue 04-Oct-16 09:15:47

I'll bump the rehearsal thread up, unless of course it's been deleted shock

corner I took 5 of my DGCs to a Rumplestiltskin Christmas show in Belfast last year. It was wonderful, although 3 year old GS was terrified and had to leave with mummy.

cornergran Thu 06-Oct-16 10:10:21

did anyone sleep on stage Jud? If so think that's the part for me! Sorry your little GS was scared, not a good panto for him. Hopefully ours won't scare anyone - except maybe the performers grin
