Universities are taking in Freshers about this time, so hopefully that's what she's sorting out.

Difficult time for mums whose one and onlys are leaving home to go to uni. The youngest of my stepgrandsons went off at the weekend and his mum was very tearful even though she already has one at uni so she's been through it all before! She might just be coming to terms with it all.

Ruby, missing, oh dear. I hope all is well with her and her soon to be university student.
Someone else I've been thinking about is nannynoo. I've been wondering how she's getting on with that lovely grandson since he came to live with her.

I saw a reassures ted thread and the name Ariadne was on. Has she name changed or just stopped posting? Her posts were always interesting.

I have missed Ariadne too. She was the first person who ever sent me a PM! Haven't seen a post from her for ages.

Also Alea and Wendysue have disappeared and I thought soontobe was due to come back. I miss their posts too.

Alea and soontobe have both been back under different names for a while now.

I miss Ariadne too. I know she didn't post as much after they'd moved house to be closer to family, but then she seemed to stop altogether.

I just started posting again today after taking a break. Nice to be missed. It is a worry about Ruby. Uni starts any day now and IIRC, she'd booked a break in a nice hotel to coincide with taking her son to uni, so maybe she's away. Bit worrying.

I think Ruby said that after sorting out DS ,she woukld be going on a Spa break.

I didn't know soontobe was back but I also realised that Imperfect had disappeared. She was a prolific poster and started lots of threads on matters important to her, particularly bereavement.

Mumofmadboys stb was banned, why would you think she was 'due to be back' ?

I thought I had read that, perhaps a short ban or perhaps I have got it wrong?

What confuses me is when a poster comes back under a new name and then uses old name as well as new name.
