What happened to manners?

I've just had a lovely day out at the Edinburgh Festival but DH and I decided to take the train with two of our grandchildren.

I was appalled by the lack of manners some people show. There were people taking up two or three seats with bags, feet up on the seats, etc; some even hiding behind dark glasses so you couldn't tell if they were asleep.

On the way home the train was filled to bursting; people were standing in the aisles and the areas between coaches.

(pregnant ladies can be in 1st priority or 3rd IMO, you don't know who is suffering from SPD etc, I suffered from hip issues and was more comfortable standing, it's just nice to be asked, but if you're not asked and need a seat, just ask)

I also don't understand why it's always teens that get the brunt of the wrath, when there are usually plenty of other adults on the bus/train, but they're not the ones who are usually targetted by the tutters.

I hate how teens are treated like an underclass
