True, Bellanona , bra less at the moment, doing a bit of what Mr P calls "light domestic" cleaning the bathroom wearing jeans and a T shirt, everything mostly staying where it should be, although that may change when I remove my trousers to complete cleaning the inside of the shower screen!

Feeling a bit tired today. OH was not well in the night (angina), which kept me awake then he slept late but I was too awake by then. He is fine now of course. But, before you all jump on me, he has an appt with the nurse for the morning (keeping an eye on his operation site which burst open), so he will chase the doctor up for his referral to the specialist. He needs a stent but I think the doctor has forgotten.

Dinner went well, one of our friends brought her 91 year old father and he is rather partial to whisky and went home a bit unsteady. Unfortunately his hearing aid whistled a lot which upset one of the dogs.

Purchase the fuel for the lawn mower so look out tomorrow - though I think I will have to do it in several sessions.

I've never ever been able to go braless. I you lot with small, pert breasts. My figure is 100% hourglass shape. It's still pretty good (for my age)...so, no complaints.

Tomorrow's appointment with the doctor has come at the right time. As you say, your husband can also mention the overdue referral to see the specialist.

I'm pleased to hear that the dinner was a success. The whistling hearing aid made me laugh. I have one of those. It can be alarmingly loud, especially when some kind person bends towards me to plant a kiss on my cheek.

The weather is improving all the time. It certainly is getting warmer. I'm now all of a dither. What and what not to pack for Sussex. That is the question. Two small bags for a very big occasion.

phoenix the mind boggles- I have a similar type of shower screen which is difficult to clean without me getting very wet. obviously designed by a man.

Good afternoon dear Kitcheners...weather improving as the day passes. Sunny, warm temperatures promised for the weekend visit to Sussex.

Charleyg Rory ^knows^...he's wandering from room to room to check out what appears to be different. Canny creatures, cats.

Who would have thought it...Leicester City is top of the football league. Sons and grandsons are lifelong supporters. They've often shed a tear when the team had a string of losses. Now, it is their turn to celebrate big-time. I have never seen so much joy and celebration as has been noted on their Facebook pages.

Care home visit was at times a bit uneasy. Two residents had a minor falling out. The staff are marvellous. Troubled waters were calmed in next to no time.

I have stuff to do. Will return a little later to catch up with any happenings.

Very cold this am even although the sun was shining. Now it is certainly warm enough to sit out in the garden.

Rory will sense a different atmosphere. I do hope that you have managed to get more rest and that your lower back is not aching so much. You have to be fit to visit Torben.

Birdbrain is in gear, It cost me nearly £7 to send a package recorded delivery to Ireland and I forgot two items! Too much on my mind.

It's a glorious afternoon here, and my bedding is almost dry.
I have a very interested party (apparently) asking lots of questions about my house. I'm hopeful of an offer, so fingers crossed please that it will be a sensible one! Another viewing booked for Sunday.
Every time I think I should reduce the price, someone else comes along.

Oh dear, Charleyg how infuriating for you. It's something that I might do.

It remains sunny and not too chilly. I've been repacking my far-too-small bag for the weekend. MacS packed his own two days ago. I've taken out a second pair of shoes and a blouse and something else (forget what it is). I'm bound to think, wish I had so and so when we arrive. Tough! I shall have to make do.

Rory asleep in the sun. I wish that I could will you across the miles, Charleyg I would enjoy our weekend so much more if you were cat-sitting. Rory does like our pal who will be calling regularly. I continue to fret because he and Bracken won't be meeting on the door mat.

I've a small heap of ironing to attend to. Let joy be unconfined. x

Lona Hello. I've just seen your post. You seem more upbeat. Your house has had a lot of viewings. I do hope, for your sake, that a buyer who is prepared to give you the asking price, is waiting in the wings. You have been very patient. You deserve some peace of mind.
And yes, I'm all excited. Just like a child counting down the days to a birthday. x

soop maybe it is as well that I am not cat sitting because that boy would be spoiled rotten and you would have an awful time getting him back into a routine again, eat, sleep, eat, sleep.

I have just posted the second envelope by recorded delivery so I am hopeful that is the end of it. At least I noticed my error today.

DH is in the process of being discharged today. I got a text at 2 saying "please come with clothes , they are taking me to the Discharge Lounge."
Picked up some clothes and a couple of empty bags and pelted over, round and round looking for a parking space, then the LONG walk to his ward (the hospital is being developed and there are no quick or short ways to anywhere).
He got dressed and the they took him down to Discharge in a wheelchair to await PHARMACY. While he was waiting I took 2 of his bags back to the car (another long walk there and back!)
He had an outpatient appointment at 4 postponed from last week due to the strike, so I then wheeled him along long long corridors, up in a lift, along more corridors, outside (!) and along the pavement to Outpatients.
Then we had to do it all back again and now (4.45) we are still waiting, thankful to have been fortified with a cup of tea and a Rich Tea by a kind nurse.
Hospital wheelchairs are very heavy and not easy to steer, a bit like a wonky shopping trolley and I am knackered and "gently glowing".

Still no baby.

Get the ma-to-be to push the wheelchair. That might do the trick.

Alea that is no joke wheeling those awful wheelchairs such a distance- I am assuming that there was not a porter in sight? Are you home now with feet up?
