A house rental which I could afford!

Alima I recommend that you take an Advanced Driving Course.
It took me ages to learn to drive originally in the 70s, I passed my test at the 11th attempt. My driving has been ok over the years but I took the advanced test after a free course with ROSPA two years ago and got a 'good' silver.
I felt very validated and its definitely made me a better and more confident driver. All the instructors are volunteers who want you to do well.

Yes, the dreaded"3am thoughts"!

This thread reminds me how trivial my worries are! For which I'm thankful. I have had much huger worries which have passed/resolved themselves but some people like me always find something to worry about! Very tiresome.

To win a small prize in the Lotto (£1mill would be more than enough),
so I can buy my own house and keep hens...!

As joannapiano said, it would be nice to have all of my own teeth. But after 18 months with NO top teeth while for an operation, I'd settle for someone else's if I could eat steak, salad, nuts, unmashed fruit & veg etc. grin is particularly inappropriate...

More company, can go for days without chatting to anyone,so life can get lonely. I talk to my dog who must think I am bonkers.

Falconbird Sun 07-Feb-16 15:32:03

All my own teeth, good and strong would be sooo wonderful. grin

granjura Sun 07-Feb-16 15:36:46

Getting rid of the tendonitis on the heel of my good leg! My right leg is cream crackered, car accident when I was 19- much shorter than the other and the knee completely kaput and will be replaced mid March- but it is actually the tendonitis on the good leg that it causing more at the moment.

Jalima Sun 07-Feb-16 15:49:26

A pair of good strong feet would be wonderful.

kittylester Sun 07-Feb-16 15:53:29

At this precise moment in time, just one very small bullet, in a gun, to aim at the bl@@dy Idiot! angry

Jalima Sun 07-Feb-16 15:57:18

Oh no, shall I give you an alibi?

MamaCaz Sun 07-Feb-16 16:13:47

Our life could be a lot more pleasant if the neighbours on one side would move away.

hulahoop Sun 07-Feb-16 16:15:58

To be in better health ?
Wish I hadn't given up driving years ago ?

Kittycat Sun 07-Feb-16 16:42:39

To be happy? No thats too bigger thing! To be more contented inspite of all the crap life throws at us and the ones we love. ? That would help.

All these comments make me realise how lucky I am and that I shouldn't complain! Sympathy and prayers for everyone who is suffering!
To anyone who is lonely but able-bodied -even if you are not a believer, go to church and get involved. You will only meet nice people there and make new friends and there are always lots of things going on. Don't be afraid!

Chrishappy Sun 07-Feb-16 18:10:00

To be fit and able, free from chronic pain so I could do some charity work hands on

Victoria08 Sun 07-Feb-16 19:48:56

Yes, sleep, sleep and more sleep. Never get enough as a bit of an insomniac.

Also, to be wind! free!

Luckygirl Sun 07-Feb-16 19:52:32

What kind of wind are we talking about here? Rennies are good. grin

ChocoholicSue Sun 07-Feb-16 21:31:41

To be able to retire. Born in 1954 I'd like to thank those who have been campaigning. I'm about to be forced to work hours I don't want to do and I feel I'm past changing my job now.

Willow500 Sun 07-Feb-16 21:34:17

I also am thankful for what i have and don't have the pain a lot on here seem to suffer. If I could split myself in two so one half of me could move to NZ and the other could stay here would be good and for my other half to be able to lose the weight he desperately needs to lose without the drama!

Anniebach Sun 07-Feb-16 21:55:41

To find it easier to come to terms with my children and grandchildren moving away, still have one granddaughter here but in less than two years she will be joining her sister in university , I feel so lost.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 07-Feb-16 21:57:02

Oh Ab sad

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 07-Feb-16 22:00:01

I would like my silent reflux to go away. And the nighttime cough that goes with it and which wakes DH up.
