.....for me it would be not having to get up to pee 3 times a night.

To stop worrying about my children and.... their children when I don't need to...those annoying 3am thoughts!

You do Ab.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 07-Feb-16 22:26:40

For DS 2 to get organised and propose to his lovely GF so we could have a wedding and maybe grandchildren on the same continent as us. (Three ones we have are halfway round the world.)

I would be happy ever after if my three sons were best friends - as they were years ago or simply just got on. Why is being a mum so hard?

I'm with Innishowen - less heartburn. Bain of my life!

For DD's health to be good.

My life is pretty good but I am still a worrywart. If I could lose the constant anxiety I feel I'd be better.

My life without some very unpleasant bullies- easily done. Good bye. Apologies sent to the right person.

To know how much to save for the nursing home and how much I can wilfully spend now when I am loving life

For the weather to improve. I'd like a bright sky and a few rain free days please smile
On the aches and pains front I'd like to say thank you to my rheumatologist who has prescribed a treatment that means I can walk my dogs. Ok, I won't moan about the rain then - I'll go and county my blessings. This thread is an interesting one Luckygirl.

If we're only allowed one thing, then I'd like to live walking distance from DGS.
If we're allowed more things, then I'd like DD to be happier and more settled, and (as someone else said earlier) winning £1m would sort me out for life.

Cosafina Mon 08-Feb-16 13:28:01

Can we go for magical things? I'd like to lose the weight I put on when I stopped smoking 3.5 years ago - but then I'd like to be able to indulge in chocolate and cheesecake and all sorts of delicious things without putting it all back on again! grin

henetha Mon 08-Feb-16 14:23:16

Central heating.

To be able to eat a proper meal

I hesitate to mention anything when I see the problems that some have on this page. But I WOULD like the skin I had 20 years ago - all the steroids have made mine paper thin and it bruises or rips at the slightest knock these days. Quite tedious.

Jalima Tue 09-Feb-16 13:19:37

I do sympathise Shrimp, my MIL had to take steroids and her skin thinned and she was forever knocking herself and bruising or ripping it. Then it can't be stitched either. DH keeps hoping he doesn't have to take steroids as his mother did for a bad chest.

annodomini Tue 09-Feb-16 15:04:10

To live within an easy drive of my family.

annodomini Tue 09-Feb-16 15:07:04

Poor you Shrimp. I've been through that thin skin period due to steroids but recently as I've been tapering the dosage, the bruising and grazing have gone.

rubylady Tue 09-Feb-16 18:25:08

To have a pain free day. I can't remember the last time that was. I am constantly on pain killers, spray stuff, heat pad anything to make it feel better.
