I only have present wrapping to do but not today.

Clean the inside of the livingroom window.
Tidy kitchen.
Finish the sewing filling the diningroom table and clear it away.
Start cards.

Sort my clothes out ready to pack and my hair things, toiletries, jewellery and champagne!
No! CBA. Sit and read and watch GN, after all I don't go until thursday

Just today,eh? I'll tidy and clean the lounge (the ironing's set up in there at the moment) and go through the decorations I've got and make a list of what I still need. I'll need to decide on a colour scheme for the decorations and as I want to put more up this year, I'll no doubt need to augment my red or gold baubles, depending which I choose.

Tomorrow I'll.........

Go to local PO and post all cards to Canada and Eire. If any money left buy a couple of groceries.

Change bedding and wash it.

Have a general tidy up.

Get off GN, I do not think that it is good for my health!!!

Today its finish the Christmas junk boxes for the little ones and wrap, make 2 handmade baubles for my brother and sister. Make a folder for DG ticket for Disney on ice , make sausage rolls for the freezer and knit a quick dolly bed blanket for DD for her gift to DG :-)

Have my hair cut. Buy Christmas tree (real one). Try and find all the baubles and decorations in the storage space along the roof. I call it the crawl space, as that's all you can do in there. It's long, dark and narrow!

I am going to make a batch of cakes to take to the local Post Office sorting room tomorrow. I am an Ebay addict, and they are always so cheerful when delivering my many parcels.
I shall probably bake today and freeze over night, then ice and decorate with home-made fondant holly in the morning.

I'd planned to do the final Big Clean so the decorations can go up. No chance, 7 month old grandson here for the day unexpectedly. Other daughter just phoned, she's 'popping in' to see her baby nephew. She's bringing her own lunch so I now have an hour whilst the baby sleeps and before she bounces through the door.
Family life eh! No complaints from me, feeling so lucky (if a bit tired)

Post cards written yesterday. Get the tree lights down and test them (no tree yet) and organise S to come and put outside lights up.

Pour more brandy into the cake, give the woodburner a really good clean, wrap DD's presents - I do one person per day. Make a GF xmas pudding, my first time so more as an experiment than anything.

Take up my trousers for DD's wedding on Saturday. I know I've had them since about October, but I might have grown in the interim(upwards, I know about outwards!!)

Wrap remaining presents, only 9 or so, post one to friend in Wiltshire, probably obsess about the Ocado order for the 22nd (the day before we go away. )

Oops DH has reminded me I am taking him to the podiatrist as well this afternoon, so the trousers might be all I manage

I'm not doing Christmas stuff. 3 family birthdays just now so got enough to cope with.

Re-wrapped the Christmas puddings (only made them yesterday )
As well as doing the washing, changing the bed, cleaning the bathroom, downstairs cloakroom, making soup for lunch.
Worn out now!

Write the letters to go in with cards. Every year I get all the easy cards out (love from Maggie and family), then I rest on my laurels for a bit. That blessed period is now over.

Walk dog for one hour - done

Just got a text to say husband is bringing home two trees tonight so will decorate them throughout the evening - whilst missing my sons who usually help or do that job for me. The kitchen floor needs washing, but my get up and go has gone. I did most major housework tasks on Saturday and almost all of the gifts are wrapped, but there are cards aplenty that won't write themselves. I'm feeling very tired and washed out today so I'm giving myself the day off.

Posted all the cards that have to be posted. Still have to write the local ones.
