There isn't much weather to report in North Leicestershire at the moment but I think it's going to get cold.

This morning I am waiting for a man to come and mend the bloody dishwasher again. I hope he says it's terminal as it's been nothing but trouble! This afternoon I have a(nother!) Library meeting.

Dry here after another windy night and the sky is clear with patches of high cloud (just poked my head out to take a picture for BBC Weather Watchers - I figure the forecasters need all the help they can get!)

Haven't been out yet properly to see if the branch which split yesterday on the Scots pine has detached itself.

It is dry and cloudy in Tynedale, but not quite light enough to take my weather photo.
I am off to Scotland on babysitting duty today. Back on Monday. Hudl stays at home, so I'll check in when I get back.

Yet another dull start in N Kent. We did see the sun on and off yesterday but it was a night if strong winds and rain.
On a lighter note I finished the present shopping yesterday, yeahy !

Just grey here in Stockport. Very wet yesterday morning but bright later and a nice sunset. My usual coffee with a friend this afternoon, she should have been setting off for 3 weeks in Australia tomorrow but her DH has been "banned " by his cardiologist and has a procedure next week. for her.

That's a shame Ann especially if they were visiting family.
Grey here too, I hate this time of year. Christmas frenzy everywhere turns me into a grumpy git hermit!

Morning everyone
I'm very late checking in on this grey, rainy Devon day. I had such a terrible night, my chest and airways rattling and wheezing so badly. So even when I wasn't in a paroxysm of coughing, I still couldn't sleep for the noise I was making . Tried sitting up against piled pillows, tried having music on, steam inhalation, olbas oil on my pillow, but nothing worked except, finally, sheer exhaustion around 4.00 am.
Today I will be mostly sitting on the sofa

Well, that was nice while it lasted !
