A calm, still mild morning in Norfolk. And a lovely pink streaked sunrise.

Off to a lecture this morning at our local stately pile. I can't for the life of me remember what it's about - but it's bound to be historical, and I know the speaker is good!

Fourth morning in a row that's dull, dry, and breezy in N Kent can we break the mold tomorrow I wonder.
DH and I are out to lunch at our friends' house today.

Good morning from Colchester. Dry here but grey. Temperature has fallen a little.
Going into town to observe the two minute silence. Hope to find a gathering at the Town Hall or War Memorial, nothing has been advertised. It's a pity we don't take Armistice Day as seriously as Remembrance Sunday.

Much brighter here in Stockport this morning. I have visitors from Derby coming this morning and they rang to say they are taking me for a pub lunch instead of me cooking. Hooray!!! Now can I leave DH at home with sandwiches??

Morning all. Calm at the moment here in Cornwall. WI committee this morning and walking group this afternoon. DH and I are leading it , I hope they are all prepared for a muddy lane!

Good morning everyone.
It is raining in Tynedale. In fact it's very very!! Am trying to have a nap as sleep was intermittent last night. DH bought me a new pillow for my birthday, so I'm trying it out. I had a buckwheat pillow before, and loved it, now I have another.
PS my birthday is in December, he gave me it early as I have been complaining about my old pillow.

It's a bit brighter this morning here in Devon - the sky is even making a valiant attempt at blue!
I've been having a bit of a sort out and have two bags of clothes and a few bits of bric a brac for the charity shop and a bag of woollens for bedding at the local cats and dogs home, so I shall be out and about today delivering these.
