It's awful here in Sheffield again, wet and grey. Off to Meadowhell this morning to do some Christmas shopping (finger down throat emoticon). I am rapidly sliding into my post fishing season gloom.....

Dull here in Stockport today. How coincidences occur!! I am having my usual Thursday coffee with my friend which had been postponed as her H had an appt with a cardiologist, his appt was cancelled last evening as said consultant is not well. He (friends H) had an "episode" 2 weeks ago which has caused them to cancel a 3 week cruise around Australia so they are not happy anyway, although we, her friends, had thought them foolish to consider it.

It is foggy in places here today. Tynedale is quite sunny in parts! Not to last though, the forecast is for rain. DS is coming for his lunch. I have fresh mackerel, but no idea what to make with it.

I am missing PRINTMISS. Has she been to any meet ups? Does anyone know where she lives? I saw a post from her the other day, but it was from several weeks ago. I do hope everything is okay with her.

It seems to be the day for sorting out appointments DS is having his third attempt at one today. As you say kitty they can do as "they" please but the moment you put a foot wrong that's it. Hope it goes well for him.

Your comment about cancellations really resonated with me kittyl, not unlike our experience (with the NHS).

I have been awake since before 6 as DH has a "procedure" today and is NBM from 7 a.m. So I had his cup of tea on his bedside table at 6 and breakfast laid out for him. I have now retreated back to bed as I have had a rubbish night, waking every couple of hours
Hope I can summon up a better mood when I restart the day!

It's wet and miserable here in North Leicestershire and I have to pick up DS1 at 8.15. He has a PIP assessment this morning. They cancelled his last 2 but warned him not to cancel twice or he would be discounted from the process. . Then I have a Sainsbury trip and a visit to mum to look forward to.
