Morning All

A beautiful morning here. But not for long according to the forecast!

Just rangthe plumber as the kitchen tap is leaking - just as we're off to visit DD1 for the weekend.

Morning all, from wet, windy Cheshire.
Feeling a bit tired today after spending yesterday with dgd and then out with her for a birthday meal with ds, dil(soontobe be ex) and dgs. It was an awkward situation, my ds was feeling quite sad and dil and I did our best to chat without mentioning the elephant in the room (their separation).
Today I'm having lunch with two close friends and as its my third meal out in three days, I'm feeling a bit stuffed!!

I checked the stock and got the dog out before the rain started, but have now retired back to bed to nurse my miserable, headachy cold. It's the first morning for a week that I haven't needed to be out early, but I've been going to bed straight after dinner to try to recover. I could really do with this bug, bug - ering off now!

DD flying from the back of beyond tomorrow and coming down this weekend so very much looking forward to catching up with her.

DD2 and DGS2 are on their way to spend the day here. He's on the move so I have to start moving things out of his reach!

Just in from work, and not a moment to soon the rain has started. Dog has to go to the groomer this morning, and my DS is coming for lunch. Must buy my train tickets today too.

Morning All from a wet and windy Somerset. Horrid morning. Need to begin to get organised for a friend's stay from Saturday. Major tidy today and begin the cleaning. Hope Thursday is kind to you.
