Mick has been starting the Good Morning thread for ages so, to those of us who have been around a while, it seems 'right' to wait. I'd be lost without it and when Mick is ill or his computer is down we all worry!!

Wet and murky here, which is a nuisance as dgd3 is coming for the day and we like to go to the park!
It's her daddies' birthday and tonight we're all going for a Chinese meal. She's very excited because she can have lobster and noodles which she loves! She's just told me that she's "saving herself"!

I think I speak for a lot of us when I say we usually wait for Mick to start the Good Morning thread. It's a tradition not a rule. You had every right to post.

I posted Morning Wed in the early hours whichas been deleted, I there an important protocol that onle some post first?

Good news Mick and Good morning all. Raining steadily here in mid Essex and looks as if it has been doing so for some time.
The cleaning team came yesterday to give the house its fortnightly blitz so I feel I don't need to do much today. Might sort the freezer.

Good morning all. No idea what the weather is like. Presume it is not wet as the dog looks quite dry after his walk with DH.

Dark, miserable and raining in NW London. Two council men have just swept up leaves around the kerb edges but left a collection in the centre of the road. Ah well at least a few have been collected.

Later I am meeting a friend for coffee then back to the paper mountain.

Good morning from rainy Colchester.
Back from a short trip to Hayling Island and have brought the rain with me.
That's good news Mick. Modern medicine and good diet is the key. I was visiting my parents who are both diabetic and they are never at home. Dad has just been given a new sort of insulin that doesn't need refrigeration so he has already booked two holidays for next year.
