Beautiful day so far in Birmingham

Morning all,
Well when I got up a couple of hours ago there was blue sky trying to break through the clouds. They didn't succeed, however, and it's now grey and dreary .
We were to be having our DS's red fox lab today for a week while he took his two boys on holiday. However, the weather forecast for most of Europe is not good, and he doesn't want to go further afield, so plans have been cancelled. The boys don't mind, they'll be pleased to be with their Daddy for a week whatever they do!

Good morning from NE Cheshire. It's rather gloomy and the trees are tossing. Not too cold, though.

Just back from walking the dog - it is a glorious day out there this morning on the South Downs. Two deer watched us nervously, before taking flight skipping across the field

Gardening today, moving some phlox to prepare the way for a new rose Eglytine which I chose as my most favourite after a visit to a national trust rose garden ( forgot the name!)

Looks like another dry, sunny day in the Tees Valley, it's been a lovely week, especially in the afternoons, warm too for October. I was sat in the sunshine yesterday about 5pm to phone my sister. She was complaining about what a miserable day it had been - she's only in Leeds! I told her it must be her personal black cloud, or perhaps it's the sun shining on the (not very) righteous?

I must get down to my accounts and tax returns today, been putting them of for 2 months now.

Dry and bright with clouds flying across a very windy sky. It's windy on the ground too. My TV reception in Tynedale is being interrupted, probably due to the wind. My son is coming for lunch, and to lend me his car. DH and I go to work at different times on Fridays so we need two cars.

Mornin all, a grim looking morning too, here in Cornwall. I'm glad I have a stack of work and can sit in my office cubby nice and warm. I don't think I shall be cycling today those roads look slippy LOL.
