Oh dear, like the rest of you , I do hope he is ok. On another forum we had a lady who was a regular poster who just disappeared and was missed by all. We have tried several ways to try to find out if she is ok but sadly no luck. Hopefully Mick is enjoying himself somewhere without signal .

Dull but less windy here in N . Bucks today. Hoping for some sun later.

A sunny start here in Cheshire sunshine

I do hope that Mick is OK, if only we had a sort of buddy system so we could contact members who disappear unexpectedly.

Seems strange without Micks opening post and I hope he is soon back on here posting. So in his absence it's Good morning from a cloudy but bright East Northants and wishing all of you a happy Friday.

Good morning all! Does anyone know where Mick lives? I think he joined with a few others when another site closed - maybe Saga - did anyone else come at the same time who might know something?

It's a dull start here in North Leicestershire and , also, DH's 70th birthday. Today he is going for a long walk with DD2 and then watching his team's first game of the season on the tv, eating take away pizza, with those members of the family who are also supporters. The party is tomorrow.

Enjoy your days!

Good morning everyone.
Doesn't Mick live in Brackley? I do hope he is all right. I'm in Northumberland so I'm miles away.
Weather today is cloudy and cool. When I left work at 07:30 the sun was shining and the sky was blue, but that was 17 miles east of here. Let's hope the clouds burn off soon.
Have a lovely day all.

daffydil Fri 07-Aug-15 09:19:30

Yes, still concerned about Mick's silence. We know he lives in Bracknell kitty in a retirement flat.
Anyway good morning all. Lovely start to the day here in Chelmsford. I am looking forward to pottering about this morning with a little bit of shopping this afternoon.
Enjoy your day.

Sunny in Beds. Am not a regular poster but it's lovely to see everyone's concern about Mick. Hope yes ok.

daffydil Fri 07-Aug-15 10:55:58

Apologies hilda. Yes it is Brackley where Mick lives. Would it be O.K. for someone to send him a private message?

Bellanonna Fri 07-Aug-15 11:29:04

He would need to be at his computer though, to open a private message. Last time he was "missing" he did come back shortly afterwards. I heartily share all your concerns.

daffydil Fri 07-Aug-15 12:25:31

Yes Bella you are quite right.

kazzer Fri 07-Aug-15 13:12:17

Welcome kazzer
WARNING.......It's addictive grin

kittylester Fri 07-Aug-15 14:41:47

Welcome, kazzer!!

I know Mick lives in Brackley but does anyone know where? I know he can hear church bells or maybe the town hall clock.

Pittcity Fri 07-Aug-15 14:59:34

Good afternoon all.
I was busy with DGS1 this morning and he has just left for his swimming lesson so I thought I'd check in as I was wondering about Mick, but I see there is no news.
We all need some sort of GN tag showing our status. A bit Big brother ut it would stop us all worrying!

Bellanonna Fri 07-Aug-15 15:25:58

Www.housingcare.org gives 6 retirement homes in brackley. I'm sure there must be more but I don't know how big brackley is. I don't think patient information would be given out to a stranger though? I'm not too IT competent but using a google map and identifying a home, if that's possible, see whether it's near a church? (Someone mentioned church bells or possibly town hall clock). Ok long shot and you'd need time. Maybe just wait for Mick to say he's back home - give it a few more days. Well it shows we care anyway ! The above is not a " link " as such, I just typed it out. Must get some iPad skills going.

Last time it was his breathing. So maybe it is the same again. Mum has been short of breath the past few days it may be the weather? He was in hospital last time.
The trouble given all our ages it could happen to any one of us. Difficult not sure what the answer is.
